I was waiting to give this business a review hoping they would give us our deposit back like they said they would. After reaching out to them numerous times, we still haven't received anything. We stayed there around Labor Day weekend 2023 and it was very sketchy when we drove up. Most of the windows to the hotel were open and it was very warm in there. We had to close the window to our room and turn the air on and wait for it to cool off. The guy at the front desk made me very uncomfortable. We had stayed there Labor Day weekend 2022 with no issues. Sad to see it go downhill within a year. We won't be coming back.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Most things would have been okay but the front desk person should not be doing that job. I've witnessed the loss of customers due to his behavior and actions. I would not recommend this place to anyone s trr at

I booked online through trulosity and when I arrived the dates were changed and I was told I would have to pay 20$ more because they couldn't give same discount the room sucks there's no channels to watch a huge DEAD cricket was next to toilet the towels were yellow no cups no ice I was givin a grocery bag with ice no shampoo or soap no napkins in the holder by sink I have a disabled daughter who is 20 and we just became homeless and honestly i would feel more comfortable on the street then in here. He told us just to go yelling at us because she was afraid to walk up the stairs. I do not recommend this place to anyone

I use a mobility scooter and was not able to get inside. If you are disabled and have mobility issues definitely not the place to stay. Judging from the condition of the building on outside and from the parking lot I'm betting the inside is pretty run down. Also the parking lot was empty at 10 p.m. and there were few rooms available elsewhere so that's not a good sign either.

I would give this place a 0 star review if I could. First off checking in was an awful experience when they broke a federal law demanding me to give them my paperwork on my service animal which has on there what he is trained for. Second their rooms were disgusting my wife and I had to clean the bathroom shower before using it. Third all throughout the night both customers and staff were slamming doors keeping me and my wife up the whole night. Customer service was terrible. I will make sure that everyone I know to never stay here.

The original Bates Motel and Norman still lives here and works the front desk. The worst place I've ever been in. If there was a zero star, I'd give it that. It smells, I think I know where the bodies are now.Hadn't been renovated since Norman's mother was alive. I've never written a review and I travel all the time, but I feel a moral obligation to warn you. DON'T DO IT. Sleep in your car if necessary.

Pretty simply, you get what you pay for. The workers were really nice and didnt bother me or anything like that. This price was affordable for what I wanted to do and it turned out to be a nice stay.

Giving this establishment 1 star is pretty generous. We were in Bellvue for a dance competition. There were several other things going on in the area making it hard to find a hotel/motel for that weekend. The people were nice but the rest was a complete nightmare!! 1st of all they overcharged me $140.00!! I didn't realize that until I received the statement as no detailed receipt was provided, yes I asked for one more than once while checking in. When we walked into our non smoking room it smelled like mold and cigarettes. I sprayed the room with body spray to cover the smell, thank goodness the windows opened to let fresh air in. The shower curtain badly need replaced as it was stained with what looked like blood. There was duct tape on the headboard covering a hole that my hair got stuck in, that was unpleasant!! I suggest they do some major updating and cleaning to this facility because it is by far one of the worst places I have ever stayed in and we travel a lot!!

This motel is disgusting. My parents were in town and stayed here. My dad is 84 years old. Traveled a lot!! They put them on the second floor, opposite end of the stairs. They checked in, said 2 adults and 2 dogs. Paid over a hundred bucks. Got to their room and it was dirty. Smelled bad. Then my dad came in from taking the dogs out and the guy manager said he only said one dog and wanted him to pay another hundred bucks. Seriously?? For one more dog. My dad said absolutely not. Then wanted fifty. Nope! Then said $15. My dad gave him $15 just to get out of there. They moved to another hotel the second night. What a horrible place!!

Very outdated, hallway carpets on the stairs a tripping hazard, hand rail for the stairs not attached, no morning coffee as stated, coffee maker not even plugged in. If you don't expect much, you won't be disappointed! One good part. The AC worked!

Was a quick decision grab after driving 20+ hours. Beds were clean and comfortable but anything is after driving that long! Would stay again.

I'd give it a zero or negative if options available thought we were in luck after driving from rocky mountain park to arrive at 5am to find a room, we checked in since we'd drove all night requested 2 days paid the fees to be awoken at noon to be told checkout time. Word of advice get copies of paperwork they ask u use pen they use pencil and conveniently changed dates on arrival n check out plus then asked for another days worth payment. Honestly it wouldn't matter if not the fact that at 5am one doesn't think clearly so when agreed on 2 days and went to get some rest next time paperwork first copies copies copies online price was 62.00 Travelocity and after they changed everything well 124.00 plus 94.00 for extra day for 218.00 I'd sue but not worth it best marked to learned experience

The staff was courteous and kind, they did not steal my deposit, there were no issues with my room,But this is notably the safest motel in Omaha. I did not see any crackheads, bugs, or excess grime in the shower. :)Give the older gentleman a raise,he's a fantastic worker!!!!!!!!

Was not impressed at all. At check in there was a deposit fee, which was fine, but they had a sign hung saying they accept cash and card and the man at the desk refused to take our card, so we had to give him all the cash we had on us. The towels in the bathroom were ALL completely stained, as were the bed sheets. The head boards for the beds were scratched up and looked worn. The showerhead was not securely installed, the showerhead fell off the pipe twice and almost hurt my daughter when she was using it. When this was brought to the attention of the man at the front desk, all he said was, "Hm". He was very dismissive and not very accommodating. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! WE WILL NOT BE STAYING AT THE SUNRISE MOTEL AGAIN!!

I have been in a lot of motels in my 68 years of living but this was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had. We were coming in late and were very tired. I knew by the cost that it would not be the Hilton but I expected a little more than carpeting from the '70's, frayed carpeting on the stairs, pillows only big enough for a chihuahua to lay on, crunchy carpet and a toilet so low to the ground that my husband had to help me up. The screens on the windows were falling out. I can't with any clear conscience even give this motel 1 star. I contacted the motel to let them know we were going to be coming in late. I was very surprised to receive a text from the motel asking when we were coming in. We needed water for taking medications and when my husband walked down the stairs the motel manger immediately approached him and told him that he was watching him on the cameras and wanted to know what he needed. After being told what we needed , he went into his office and retrieved two bottles of water ($1.00 each) and then gave my husband a used plastic bag with some ice in it. I don't know what was in that bag before!!!!!! How Hotels.com can give this motel 3 stars is beyond me. Stay away!!!!!!!!!!
