Today is Thanksgiving day. Before a long drive I stop in at my local gas station to grab a drink for the road. I smiling face greet me, which is me happy Thanksgiving, and after a short transaction I am ready to go on my way. I took a moment to tell her that I used to help manage a Blockbuster Video (RIP) and on occasion I would need to work holidays. Customers would come in and say, "they made you work today?" I would cringe and think to myself very privately, "yes, because people like you had to come in." I told her, "thank you for working today so the people like me can come in." So yes, I lift my glass to all of the gas stations and services who have workers who graciously give their time on holidays for customers like me. And more specifically, this Thanksgiving I am thankful for this small town gas station with friendly faces, well-stocked shelves, and in being open on holidays, employees who are willing to inconvenience themselves to make a convenience store convenient for me.

It's a gas station they sell gas and convince items. Fair prices sometime better than the other many gas stations we have in town. Staff is usually friendly as well
