I was at Boys Town for 7 years in the 60s. I returned for our 50th HS Reunion. What is there not to like of the education, opportunities, cultural enlightment and religious guidance I was provided?

I met an enthusiastic worker at the gift shop/visitor center (Christi?). She gave me a wonderful description of the lay of the land and gave me some brochures and map. It has the largest postage stamp art sculpture. After four million, you lose count.

An amazing town to visit. They have their own road system, police, and firemen. They average around 400 students yearly. 97% of every contribution made stays right in the town. The staff and all expenses to run are all funded by the interest generated by an endowment. They have their own post office and zip code so they are an entire town. Amazing place.

It is a beautiful campus, and there is a wonderful church that has the tomb of the founding priest. Definitely worth visiting and supporting the work that they do.

The stamp center is incredible. Just ask Joe Rende for anything that you need for your stamp collection.
