At approximately 4:45 pm on this day, Thursday October 26th, I went to this location in Broken Bow to fill a 20lb. propane can. They had 3 people working in the store, two young men and one young woman. All 3 employees refused to help me. The owner of Trotters can look on the schedule for this day to see who was working at that time. I said to the female cashier, "Aren't you women equal to men? Why don't you do it?" Her answer was, "I would if they pay me more!" This is food for thought for the owner of Trotter's. Will you pay an employee more after finding out that they are losing business for your company? I walked out with no propane.

Wow, this place has really gone downhill. This has been our normal stop when in town. Not anymore. Dirty, smelly bathrooms don't work for me either. When the checkout process is slow, it was the last time we stop.

Nice people and great place to stop. Showers are only $10.00...very nice grey tiled showers. The feed lot across the road is all stored up right now.... unfortunately smells like a sewer!The travel stop is very well set up. They make decent breakfast sandwiches and stuff behind the counter in the mornings too.

The parts office was very rude and impatient. I was looking for a tire and the guy that they patched my phone call through acted like he was going out of his way to help. He grunted and just talked in a patronizing manner. I was put on hold and he took forever to find what we needed; which would be just fine in my book had he not been rude. He found a tire to match our camper for $560. He repeated the size back to me wrong and I corrected it and asked if he meant the other size. He then, abruptly, cut me off and proceeded to tell me he knows what he said; instead of just swallowing his pride and saying it was wrong. Anyways, we drove only an hour and a half away and got the same exact tires for $235. Got two of them for less than he tried to sell me one for. The previous negative reviews obviously have not been fixed. I would recommend making the drive to save an exponential amount of money and unnecessary stress; go to a place that cares about their customers!

Do not recommend the propane side to anyone. The staff and drivers are incredibly rude and dishonest and refuse to own up to their own mistakes, and instead decide to be condescending and yell over the phone, on 3 separate occasions. This year one of the drivers filled my tank while distracted on the phone and the truck filled the tank so full that the truck actually stopped filling while he was preoccupied. Then I spent the next two days watching who knows how much money spraying out of my overflow valve as the day warmed up and the tank built pressure, the drivers solution was to turn my furnace up all the way and open my windows. Also had them install a new gauge and tank float which doesn’t go past 15% when filled and they stated they can’t do anything about it. My family has done business with them for a very long time, and today is the end of that. In my calling around today looking for my replacement I found out I was overpaying them by .45c a gallon on top of everything else that happened. So thank you Steve and ASSociates for treating customers so poorly, you inadvertently saved me and my neighbors a nice chunk of change today.Avoid at all costs.

Very Rude and condescending people when proven to be wrong. Outright lied to me and my wife and when called on it I got 3 phone calls from three people being very rude and disrespectful. Last year they overfilled my tank and it popped the relief valve snd sprayed propane for 2 days, we had to evacuate my shop. In the end I'm glad, my family has been buying propane from them for a very long time, and since this I've done some price checking and found out they are .45c a gallon more than there competitor on propane. So I guess this was a blessing, I'll be letting all my neighbors know as well who currently use trotters propane.
