Great place to get things you need quickly. The old man and his wife are amazing, very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend stopping in and saying hi. While they might not have everything that the big box stores have, they are worth checking out. You won't regret it. They are always helpful.

This store has been a welcoming place to shop while we are spending a winter in Nebraska. It is right in the center of town. You will like the Franz family (owners for 30 years) who run this well appointed store. There is always someone to greet you and offer help as soo as you enter. The store appears small on the outside, but inside... not so small. They have a great selection & competitive prices (theirs compare well with Amazon prices). If they don't have what you need they will order it. I like & support family run businesses and this True Value Hardware Store is a great example of a job well done.
