Bought a jar of pickles yesterday and they had expired in January of 2023. They had definitely gone bad, honestly I didn’t even know that pickles could go bad bad. When I called the store to just let them know because they were in sale so I’m betting more people than normal bought them, I was told don’t worry just come to customer service and we will refund you. I didn’t call for a $3.28 refund, I called because they were over 2 years expired and someone could get extremely sick (botulism is a real thing). I was informed from Veronica that they don’t usually look to see if any other of the same items are expired when people call to inform them that they were sold expired food and that they typically get those calls a few times a day. So moral of the story if you want to buy expired food and risk potential food borne illnesses go here, otherwise try a different store.
