I was very impressed with the staff at this facility. This store was stocked very well with a wide variety of products. This store was very clean and organized. Shopping at this store was quick and the staff was extremely helpful.
Great job to the store staff and owners. The young employee's I dealt with were extremely polite and respectful. Great job of their parents raising these kids. Great to see a young people with respect.

Crete Ace Hardware is a great local store. Their staff is super nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. When I first started my painting project I stood in the paint aisle at Walmart for probably 30 minutes, couldn’t decide on what paint and no one was around. Went to Ace and was immediately greeted and pointed to the paint aisle where Dan gave me great advice and helped me pick my paint.

Their selection is decent for the town size, and I buy a lot here. When I stopped by today and asked about fiberglass poles, the salesperson that "helped" me acted like I was asking for something that didn't exist and rolled her eyes over it. Rude. I wasn't being difficult or mean or pushy or demanding or anything. I just asked. She ended up pointing me in what seemed like a random direction to get rid of me and left me to search by myself. Ok. I usually do look for things myself first and I don't think I should be treated like I'm wasting your time. But otherwise, the other employees I've interacted with are nice and helpful and I will continue to shop here. I'll just avoid her. :) Side note: the owner does always thank me for stopping by when he's around and his wife is awesome, she always makes sure we found what we're looking for!! ^_^
