If you have to stay here, it will do. It should be $40 a night, not $80. If you want comfort, this is not the place, but it has a roof. One of my family members stayed the night, the next day, and a key to his room was on the ground behind a flower pot. The AC only half worked.

Listen- this is the only place to stay at in town(unless you opt for the airbnb that's typically booked weeks/months in advance)I do travel nursing and stayed here dor.mt 13 week assignment.Things to note- This is located in little hicktown nebraska off the 2 lane highway. During my stay I checked in and out and have definitely have my favorite rooms.I'm pretty picky about where I stay. During my 13 week assignment I did not come across a single bedbug, roach or mouse.I'm a fearless traveler, so having the door not really lock to the room didn't bother me- HOWEVER I would suggest to any single travel to definitely carry a "mystery-mousekatool" (IYKYK!) . The walls are thin and you will probably hear your neighbors TV. Also, room 23 has ALOT of cats- so I'd avoid that one too.The old man is KNOWN to do room checks during the day and just busts through the door.AVOID ROOM 20 the hot water doesn't work.

Nice little place, house cleaning Mon-Fri. Only thing I have to say beware owner checks rooms early and just opens the door. Jokes on him cuz I sleep Nude! Hahaha I know one day he saw a full moonSafety: No dead bolts they are shimmed out behind the trim!Walkability: Gasstation&family dollar within minutes of walking.

We had planned on driving a few more hours, but, we were exhausted. This was the only motel in town. We were pleasantly surprised. The outside was a bit “off putting” ~ it’s an older motel and needs cosmetic work. However, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. The room was dated, but, the sheets were clean. The bathroom was spotless. The pillows were nice and fluffy. We would definitely stay again.

Depends. Rooms were clean, close to where my wife was working. We were from out of state and out of nessesity had to take the room. They were charging people different prices for the same type of room. The guy there had a habit of going into rooms when the occupants were out and i don't mean when they come to exchange towels. They were accommodating for the most part but if it wasn't out of need, we would've stayed somewhere else

Made reservation and got confirmation number. Held up by bad accident on highway so called to say would be there but between 7-8pm(was originally 5-6pm). Got there and office locked, no answer to phone # given to call for assistance. Tried for 15 minutes to get someone to help. Ended up having to find a different motel 30 miles away. Might have actually been lucky as place looked very trashy and half vacant. Terrible experience after a 10 hour drive.Noteworthy details: Confirmation number means nothing

For a small town this was a nice motel. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, plenty of towels. Only drawback... I checked out a day early & was only given a partial refund price of the room ($$) because “taxes were already paid & he was loosing money for my early departure”. I had given him 24 hr notice, though it wasn’t stated that it was required.4/19/2022:This motel is under new ownership. From what I have been told by local residents, this is not a good place to stay at anymore. If possible,Seward,NE is 25 miles South of David City. They have motels along I-80 that are nice. I would suggest you drive there. If you’re coming from the south,Columbus,NE is 25 miles NW of David City. I would suggest you drive there. Pass this motel by.
