Beautiful event space for my daughter's wedding and reception! Melissa made the planning process and the day of very easy. She was great to work with! Bar on-site with security provided, amazing outdoor space for guest activities. If you are looking for a quiet, country wedding venue outside of Lincoln, this is it!

I was a guest at a friend’s wedding. Really nice venue with a peaceful outdoor setup. The vineyard made a great backdrop for the ceremony. Landscaping was pretty and thoughtfully done. The indoor reception space was great—everything felt organized and well set up. The owners were great.

Owners were fantastic to work with. Very up front with pricing. It always felt like they truly wanted to help make sure your wedding day was perfect and not just another sale. On top of the great owners, the venue is beautiful. Just look at the pictures or go on a tour...it really sells itself. You can tell the owners take pride in their work and take attention to small details that really stand out. Doors that close and open to hide the bride for the ceremony. A new paved aisle. Flower beds everywhere. We loved the vineyard that backed up to the venue for pictures. They also had yard games to borrow for the yard space. Highly recommend having your wedding here!

Booking Hillside Events was the BEST decision. Melissa made everything go so smoothly. She was always incredibly responsive and organized and she handled everything! She helped organize everything in advance, did all of the decor, helped all the vendors get set up, and just kept everything going smoothly. The decorations looked amazing and she cleaned everything up the next morning as well, and had our stuff boxed up and ready to take home. From start to finish she always had answers to any of my questions and even gave suggestions about commonly forgotten things. On top of that, the venue itself was beautiful! Right next to a vineyard and some pet goats. There were yard games and a fire pit that my guests loved, and the perfect outdoor ceremony space. I could not have asked for a better venue, and I highly HIGHLY recommend Hillside Events.

My wife and I had our wedding on September 14th this year and Hillside Events was an amazing venue for us! During the year leading up to our wedding Melissa was great at communicating with us and keeping everything on track. Everything on the day of the wedding went smoothly due to her going above and beyond to help with all of our vendors and guests. The decor was exactly what we wanted as well! We would definitely recommend choosing Hillside Events for your venue and hiring Melissa.

I can not say enough about Melissa and her wonderful staff. This was the most stress free wedding. She decorated the venue so beautifully. She was so kind and helpful. Thank you for making Kaycee and Garrett’s day so wonderful.

I was on the groom’s side of the family. Not only were the owners rude, the groom’s mother had more mints that she was NOT allowed to put out. This place is too pricey and no alcohol after 9pm. No leniency outside. I was just taking my medication. If someone has their trunk open does NOT mean anything nefarious is going on.

I can't recommend Hillside enough for your event. We had our wedding here and Melissa helped it be zero stress. She did all the decorating for us, which meant no sales hunting or storing for me! Family and friends had so many compliments for the space.

Had my wedding here last night, Melissa is super amazing to work with! She did all of our decorations and they were perfect! All of our guests kept telling me how beautiful the venue was and I couldn’t agree more!
