The hotel building is old and beautiful but that’s the extent of the good on the hotel. Paid above average price, no breakfast. Old coffee, no maid service , you have to ask desk daily for clean towels and toilet paper. You have to take care of own trash and come ask for bags. Very disappointing I have paid less and had better treatment. Excuse is Covid a year after ended and they don’t wear or require mask.

Buyers beware. This hotel requires a 72 hour cancellation. So when the weather turned bad and we were unable to travel to this hotel we were charged $250.00 and received nothing. Even though we canceled before 8am that day. I also ask for a phone call if they were going to charge my credit card. I received no call. Just the charge.

The building's charm and helpful staff are what makes this hotel special. It's clean, and the decor makes you feel like you've stepped into an era gone by. I stayed in a single queen room. Instead of a closet in my room, an ornate armoire was provided. Be sure to have the appropriate wall plugs for your electronics, as USB charging outlets are not available. Enjoy a beverage at the Den. The bartenders can tell you about all the whisky they offer. If you're curious and there is time, ask the staff for a tour of the suites. I will definitely stay here again.Food & drinks: Visit the Den and enjoy a wide variety of beverages.

Very clean rooms. The bed was extremely comfortable. The manual key was a little more difficult to open the door than it needed to be but over all its a very nice hotel. Antique style.

Historic hotel which is a plus. Reasonable rates. Zero amenities. No in room coffee/tea. No breakfast options. No maid service. No streaming TV. Only hotel personnel appears to be the person at registration. This could be great with just a little effort.

The staff when you first check are friendly and tell you where to go to get to your room. They also have coffee in the morning in the vending room on the 4th floor. The room is very beautiful have not seen anything like it. The bed was very comfortable we slept great. When you check out you give them the key/s and they say thanks for staying there. I would highly recommend the place is very neat and has lots of history. The rooms are very clean and neat and is close walking distance to about anything in the area.

The room and hotel decor, recently renovated to preserve the elegance of a day gone by, was tasteful and thoughtful from the rich wood moulding to the bronzed tin ceilings and the functional antique furniture. I had wondered if the large furniture would lend a crowded, cluttered feeling to the ambiance, but it truly did not. I didn't choose to move out of my suitcase for the four nights I was there, but the drawers were clean and certainly could have been utilized. The sink was in the room but it had a cabinet that was aesthetically compatible with the furniture. There was no writing surface or chair in the room, so I used the bed with all its decorative pillows to create a lounging, reading and writing space. The large screen tv was good for local and national news and weather programs but did not offer cable movie stations like Netflix or HBO on demand. The location was great for walking to breakfast at the One Stop Cafe or to lunch at A & G Restaurant & Pizza, or to your business appointments on the square. Easy parking and an upscale lounge for drinks and snacks off the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful and provided coffee in the common room on the floor. each morning (no liquid milk or cream, however.)There were a microwave and refrigerator to share also available in the common rooms. Plenty of closet space, hot water for showering and my room was quiet and well-ventilated. My only discomfort was there were no down or similar soft pillows available for sleeping. I never regretted staying there and found the price reasonable with discounts for Triple A or AARP memberships. Will definitely stay there again.

The room was clean and just enough for us, though, we don't need many amenities. I thought the price was very reasonable as well.

Old hotel in process of renovation, limited rooms available. Room was nice but high room rate considering the city of Falls City, NE location. All the businesses that we visited were a bit 'scary' due to employees and clientele. City seemed stuck in somewhere other than the present. Hotel was just too expensive, no reason to return to Falls City.

The Queen sized bed was a full size mattress which was also very high. Mattress was like sleeping on a wobbley balloon. Coffee in the morning was bad. Barely can maneuver in the shower area, which was right on top of the toilet. Got 1 hand towel! Expected more for such a fancy looking hotel!!!
