I have adopted my 2 pugs through Pug Partners of Nebraska. I also volunteer with this rescue. The volunteers care about each pug in the rescue. They also do their best to find the perfect home for each pug!

I first adopted from Pug Partners in 2016 and have adopted three of my puggies from them. The volunteers put their hearts and souls into taking care of pugs and finding them the best homes possible. They do what is best for their rescues, including vet care, good food, vetting adopters, and matching pugs with their perfect forever homes.Highly recommend. Thank you for all that you do!

Pug Partners of Nebraska is hands down one of the most caring and reputable rescues I've ever worked with. They really go out of their way to help all pugs regardless of age, disability, etc. Their main focus is on the care and well being of each pug to ensure they are taken care of and placed accordingly. Each interaction with their volunteers was amazing and fun to talk to and communicative. I would recommend rescuing with them or volunteering for them, you won't be disappointed.

PPN is awesome! They are not a brick and mortar but a foster community. We've adopted twice from PPN and have had no problems. I think people do not read and understand the "to see if you are a good fit" part. Any rescue you go to will not let you adopt if you do not meet the requirements for the pup. Adoption is what's best for the pup, not you. Yes, you can request a certain Pug but you may not qualify. These pups have come from either terrible circumstances or a deceased owner. PPN looks out for the Pug which is what matters most. They do well in pairing their Pugs!

They are a disappointment, they tell you to fill out a prescreen email and tell you to tell them why your a good fit for the dog you want to adopt and then let you fill out an application and say someone will get back to you in 14days and then well after the 14 days are up send you an email about how busy they are cause the hosted some event and by the way the dog you were interested in has been adopted. No communication they don't even follow their own process. But they are just volunteers and are busy. If you are to busy with jobs and life maybe you should get out of the volunteering and concentrate on your jobs and leave the dog rescuing to someone who has time to follow thru with your process. So very disappointed that I wasted over a month of my time I have a full time job and family too.I would not recommend this rescue to anyone. Beware

This is a great place to get a rescue Pug. They have a foster home to two in the Iowa area, which can make driving to visit a new perspective family furbuddy. I adopted a Pug from these folks and would do it again.

Not very responsive and way strict. It took a month and 4 emails to try get some kind of information about one pug. They ignored any of the questions I had but made sure I knew I wasn't going to be able to adopt from them because I don't have another dog and their pugs aren't allowed to use dog doors.
