“I had just dropped my son off at Camp Cedars Scout camp &was leaving &began to notice my brakes weren't working like they should-I had to depress them completely to the floor. I got out and noticed fluid leaking.Naturally I began to feel panic like what was I going to with my dog in the middle of no where. A google search found several mechanics in Fremont but most of them were closed. I found 2 that were open so I went to the first one called FREEWAY AUTO. I went in distraught and they wouldn't even take the time to even just look or help in anyway. I then called Maco and he said we close at noon-no promises but I'll take a look and see what I can do. They looked &found the caliper had completely come off due to the screws not being tightened properly. Their generosity &kindness didn't stop there-they allowed me &my dogto wait for my husband inside & theywere having a bday party for one of their employees and gave my husband &I some food&cake. We waited almost 4 hours for a tow truck. I've never been here before ,but I'd definitely recommend them to anyone. They're guinuinely kind hard working family people & it is something this world needs more of. Thank you again Joel!”

“My brother and I brought our work truck in to get aligned and have new wheels and tires mounted, balanced and installed. I talked to Dillon and he was able to get us in the next day. I believe Tyler did a majority of the work on the truck and everything looks like he takes pride in his work. Everyone we dealt with at Tailgate Garage was friendly, easy to work with, knowledgeable and fair on the price. I will definitely be taking my vehicles to Tailgate Garage in the future for all service. I can’t recommend them enough.”

They could have went ahead and changed the oil and charged us, but they were honest and said the oil still looked brand new and we didn't really need an oil change yet. “My daughter lives in Fremont and had a tire that kept going low. I told her to have WalMart fix it while she was shopping. They said they couldn't do it because the lug nuts were swollen (Yes - it's a think on some Fords. Happened on another daughtes car too). So we got an appt at Freeway. I was expecting it to be over $100 but they were able to fix it for $20. Will have her go there for any future needs. Don't waste your time with other places.
