That's why we are grateful to work with local renters and utility companies to help people pay their bills when they are struggling to make ends meet. For example, our partnership with Black Hills Energy offers utility assistance via HeatShare funds to those in need. Learn more about HeatShare.Personal Care Pantry | Tuesday & Thursday, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.We offer everything from household items like laundry detergent and dish soap to personal hygiene products like soap, shampoo, deodorant and body wash to anyone who is unable to get these items, those experiencing homelessness or individuals or families who are struggling to make ends meet.Back-to-School AssistanceSupplying kids with new backpacks, notebooks, pens and pencils can put an extra strain on a family's already-tight budget. That's why each August we partner with other agencies in the community to ensure that every kid in Fremont is prepared for the start of school with a new backpack filled with school supplies.Pathway of HopeThe goal of Pathway of Hope is to guide families with children 18 years and younger through crisis to a place of stability in order to ultimately break the intergenerational cycle of poverty. Got to know the Salvation Army at the Kroc Center in Omaha. That was a game changer in that neighborhood. I've been donating since I was a little kid putting money in the kettle during Christmas.

Thank you Lynn for helping with some of the cost of repairing our home due to the recent flood. Although my children and I are still displaced , the financial assistance The Salvation Army provided us ensures that we will be able to return home sooner! I am so thankful to be a part of an amazing community. Thank you Salvation Army for,â€Doing the most good!†God Bless, Renae Kirschenmann and family

Totally the run around, caused more burdens then assistance. Employees seem powerless to do anything. Sure are determined to pass you off to someone or anyplace else.
