Zero stars if I could. Employee berated my husband for no reason, they're always rude, not our fault you hate your job. Store is trashed. Surprised this location is still operating, It'd be the greatest riddance our community could ever see if they closed. Absolutely HORRID.

In my experience, the cashier who is here now is very racist and threw the coins at me and was not kind at all. I will return when they fire her 🤔🤔😕😕

My dog had six puppies and every time I go in to buy puppy pads, shipment has come in and the only thing they get in xl of those are 3 pads for $1. I buy the 14 count xl pads for 1 dog and 6 puppies and I have to go to Gibbon to get them because this one does not get them in and said they cannot even request them, they are just sent what they send. I won’t go in here anymore, 7 times looking for the same thing that they never get in but first time in Gibbon and I walked out buying 4 packs.

I get sick and tired of going down there when the have a sale on pop and they are out a day or two later. I asked the worker and he just said oh and didn't seem to care. You probably lost a customer.

There was alot of people in the store while one worker he was stocking and found out the manager and assistant manager was cheating in the office doing nothing and truck showed up and manager still didn't do anything

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU'RE A PERSON OF COLOR.I have been going to this dollar general for most of life. I haven't experienced anything awful until these past weeks. I had been to the store for the first time in a long time about a month ago.the last 4 times I was followed by the manger and treated as if I was stealing. I js wanted to shop not to be followed and embarrassed. The last time I went into the store I was followed again and she came out of the store and just stared at me I got out of the car and asked her if their was a problem. To which she walked back inside with nothing to say. I wanted to know if there was an issue.I came into to see the store manger talk about me to her fellow coworkers about me as if i was stealing just blatantly making up lies to make her self get attention that shes probably missing at home. I asked what the problem was and why she did this every time I came in. She denied that she had done any of this and told me to "GET OUT OF HER STORE". The manger is super racist and probably followers every poc in there.

I walked over to Dollar General on Broadwell in Grand Island Nebraska the other night it was About 5° outside. I got there about a quarter till 6:00 and there was a note on the door that said until further notice we will be closing at 5:00 or 5:30 something like that from now on. I had checked on the computer to see what their hours were to begin with and nothing was said about how they had changed their hours. I was very disgusted! They provide a service for people and if they are going to close early they need to put that on their website also!

Staff and managers are rude beyond belief. Store is always filthy (inside and out) and shelves aren't stocked , product isn't where it should be. Prices different then posted. Outdated food. Also trying to figure out why they tell people to leave at 6pm when the store hours say 10pm. This store needs a major overhaul on employees, management, and cleanliness. Won't ever shop here again.

Trying to figure out why the sign says they're open till 10:00 but they're closed just after 7:00 p.m. lady in there wouldn't even give me the time of day when I asked why does the sign say they're open till 10:00 but close at 7:00 she gave me some kind of gesture to buzz off.... I could understand things closing down during covid this time of day when it was really bad but give me a break

The employees are very friendly. Be ready to wait in lines though. The staff not only checks at registers, but they have to gather carts, unbox product and stock the shelves. Be kind, they work hard and this is the corporate approach to keeping prices low. The store is older but clean and most items are in their correct place and prices are easy to see. Parking lot is full of pot holes so drive carefully. Not the fault of employees. Overall the best and most convenient discount store in the area. Beats battling the Walmart crowd if your just out to grab a few essentials (basic food items, pop, milk, juices etc). Good selection of snacks, treats, paper products, cleaning and pet supplies, over the counter medicines, school supplies, cheap toys, pet supplies, and personal care items. Again, super friendly staff that are always working really hard.

The supervisor was too rude.i visited the store 02/05/2022 around 16:10 h (4pm)i bought several items .the bill was around 206 dollars.i put my debit card and it was the balance for 160 the rest of itwm i told her to take off.she said it was imposible.then i tolde her to wsit 5 minutes to tranfer funds to my account.Finally the said me for next time to make sure that my card have enough funds for no wate time.First of all i i dont want the item she must to take it off from my bill other wide she have the find up a solution as i told her about to transfer funds.but never she has to give a rude answer to the customer.Too bad service

There was a cashier that was doin a good job but she also got overwhelmed after times and had to reissue change. It was busy, things happen.
