Don't believe the credit work for percent off they said I would get 25 dollars off if I do apply for home Depot credit card I thought hell why not I got bad credit but they said I still had a chance and if not I'll get 25 dollar off then had to stand in line for 10 min while the lady went to call someone and said I was declined and don't even get the discount I'm very disappointed and then started asking if I was Planning on buying more stuff up to 1000 to get 100 off ya it was my to go store but I'll to Menards were they hold there promises

Don't do business here. Just Don't. We're remodeling our basement and wanted carpet installed... Purchased carpet. Set install date.... Wrong color carpet got installed throughout most of the basement. Spoke with representatives on the phone, after a few hours we eventually came to the conclusion that a different rep from the local branch would reach out. At the time of this post that phone call hasn't happened.... I'm fairly certain it never will. Yeaaaa 👍

If I could give them 0 stars I would. We placed an order for pickup as we live over 3 hours away. Our order was canceled as they were marked as fraud for our bank. After we got that settled we put in the same order so we could pick it up the next week. Our bank was aware and they were told to charge the order that day so everything would go through. They charged our card 4 separate times draining our bank account into over draw. Our order now isn’t even going to arrive on time for pickup. I spoke to a manager and was told that there was nothing they could do to and I was to dispute the charges with my bank.
I will say, a woman called my husband when our first order was canceled to check on things and she deserves a raise. And probably to be put in charge because it’s obvious no one else can do anything right.

Trying to come in the contractors area to pick up material and it's always so crowded with people that don't need to use it or who don't have a trailer people are lazy and parking there so they dont have to walk! Fix it!

MARIA in customer service was very unhelpful. Pushed us off onto a different associate and made us repeat the process twice. Then told us she couldn't help us because one of their card readers was not working. When there a several in the store. Do not see why this lady is put into a customer service position when she isn't wanting to help the customer or get someone to actually help them. Worst experience and she needs a different job.

I was at this store today getting some things for my house. I have spent over $1000 in here because some of the workers were very helpful. I made this store my go-to store. Well…today wasn’t pleasant at all…especially at checkout time. The girls in the back were very pleasant and helpful. Your CSRs in front….they need a little bit of help. The computer/register jammed up . The girl never apologized for the delay. My husband and I sat there for almost 20 minutes waiting for my change. The girl came back $12 short on my change. She didn’t apologize for short changing me. Because it was a lengthy period of time to look stupid and wait, I asked for my money back. My husband mentioned going to Menards. The girl snatched the dollar back and handed the money back that I gave her to my husband. My husband didn’t pay for the items…I did. I was not rude to the girl. She never apologized or said have a nice evening. I did in make a comment on how rude she was for not at least apologizing for the mishap. What topped it off, there was a manager sitting right there with no apologies either. I work in customer service. I have never treated any of the customers that pays my way like that regardless of the situation. I was in and out of Menards in 6 minutes. They treated us like valuable customers and they helped us get what we needed very professionally and promptly. Plus, I saved an extra $5. I am a secret shopper. I do post my recommendations on numerous places in the area. I would give this place 0 stars. But, the girls that were in the back were the only ones that kept my visit at 1 star. Rule of thumb, if you’re going to work with people, you need to least use the code word L.A.S.T. That means listen, apologize, suggest, and thank. That’s how you keep loyal customers coming back!!!

I have never been to a single Home Depot that didn't offer any kind of assistance with SOMETHING. Twice now when we got lumber, my husband, a disabled veteran, which was OBVIOUS, we were loading a hearty load of lumber by ourselves. There was a bystander that came and helped us the one time, the second it was my husband and I. When we bought a pretty large fire pit, nothing. Not one time in store has an associate even spoke to us to see if we needed any help or even the usual "are you finding everything okay?"
We are super thankful for the bystander that came and helped us load the large sheets of pressed particles board. Employees were right there and nothing. I've been to many Home Depots and this has never been the issue.

Today I went shopping because they are on sale. I bought two tool combos. For each combo they give you another free tool. Well, it happens that due to their mistake, without me having bought any ladder, the girl immediately sent me to where they serve the client, there they gave me a refund without me asking for it, without me knowing that they had given me a ladder because I had to lose around 150 dollar . A man arrived who supervised us and only made us laugh for not knowing English and said that nothing could be done and they were just going to devour the money for the stairs. Why are the offers not returned without me having even left the store? I felt indignant that I couldn't tell him what that hairless man deserved. Be careful that it seems that this was a game to be able to get more money from people. The girl put a ladder for me and then without explaining, she sent me back. They know what they were doing. What a shame because I bought there 10 years ago and I had never felt so humiliated. I realized it when I checked my bank account. And there I made my claim. Well, goodbye Home Depot. There are other stores, you are not the only one. I feel so much racism, why if I buy with my money that I work for and pay my taxes every year, I am one more in this country, I am neither inferior nor superior.

I work doing delivery with applications, in this case I did a Roadie in this Home Depot Grand Island NE store and they didn't know how to explain anything, they had a guy where the orders are picked up who was incompetent with no knowledge about the job, his answer was not correct and I had to waste time and cancel the order, why not put a person in this position who is friendly, who also speaks Spanish to help the Latin community, a person capable of performing and pleasing the customer and above all who is not racist

I bought Purgo laminate flooring and had it installed. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the HD website. Their page says I would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours after I paid. They do not tell you a third party will contact me to set up installation. I would have understood it might take longer had I known. Anyway every one at Home Depot was nice to work with, as well as the Crew to Home service schedulers and Jim who came and did my instalation. It 3 days and my floors look wonderful. 100% happy!!! If you choose to have them do the installation like I did just be aware it could be 3 to 5 weeks before they call to schedule. They are a busy crew but do wonderful work!
