We absolutely LOVE their variety of foreign plants!! They always have a great selection of plants, indoor and outdoor... HOWEVER..... The one thing we definitely do NOT like is, when we were there, it was self checkout only yesterday... I don't think we'll be going back for a while just because of that... We're not for taking jobs from people... But it is a very clean store, the staff has ALWAYS been super friendly and VERY helpful...

The WORST. I'm a local home builder and trust me, I have a dozen terrible experiences to share. Sometimes home buyers want to go get items, and I will sometimes allow it, even tho I strongly recommend they go anywhere else but here. You'll go through the hellish customer service, and contractor sales. Defective merchandise that was returned from someone and SOLD again, to me, more then once! They offer nothing but snide return policies over the phone, as well as in person. Management should have a policy to not restock shelves, or racks with defective merchandise. Blood pressure spikes whenever I drive past that place. I've heard other towns have really good ones? Maybe, but for GI, I'd say don't waste your time. Because you will, and the savings you might think you are getting will cost you WAY more down the road. Maybe take the trip to Lincoln if you've fell in love with a home Depot item that you really want.

We bought a Samsung Refrigerator. We bought the 5 year warranty. We have had so many problems with the ice maker. We have had 5 service calls and the ice maker still doesn't work. I called the warranty company March 22 and a month later and 5 phone calls later — they had not sent a repair man yet. Worst customer service I've had in awhile. I was in the store for 15-20 minutes. I couldn't find anyone to help me find anything in the departments I was in so I went to the customer service desk for help. Ok no big deal I guess. I was the only person in line at the customer service counter. I was not acknowledged by either of the Two associates at the desk then another customer came to the counter and they helped her instead. When I was finally greeted I brought this to the associates attention and got an excuse instead of an apology. "We are trying to figure this thing out here." I asked if they treat all their customers like this. Then of course I got "Is there anything we can do to help you?" from both associates. No Home Depot there is nothing I need from you. First and last visit.

I have been a sales manager for 15 plus years, in customer service for over 25. I'm usually not one to complain because I know how it feels. After numerous un kept promises and a large scratch on my front doorsill I can say that I'm divorcing Home Depot. The guys that came out tried to do what they could but because of a lack of planning I now have to figure out how to replace the doorsill without replacing to front door and side light. Needless to say I could not be less happy with Home Depot. I've spent over 15k there in the last 3 years, 7k this time and the lack of follow up and care for the customer is terrible.
