We have been going here for several years. They have always taken care of our pets even in an emergency situation. We had lost one of dogs and they took care of us and handled everything in a professional manner through the whole process. They don't rush you and don't try to upsell you on things that you probably wouldn't need.

I called to board my sister's dog. I told the clinic that the dog was fully vaccinated and provided his home vet clinic. Instead of requesting the records or contacting me, they fully vaccinated the dog eithout authorization. I have been a long time client, but this ends today.

The staff was very pushy and did not seem nice at all I took my two kittens there to get spayed and we came home and they had an infection and look like they had been butchered it looks like they just were winging it during the surgery. They were going to charge us $200 just to see them after hours not even to fix anything yet. We took them to a different vet and paid half the price to fix them up and they said they had infections internally and it was a good thing we brought them in when we did because they were so sick.

Friendly and informative! My dog, Judy was pretty nervous, but quickly made new friends with the doctors and staff there.

I too my 1&1/2 year old miniature dachshund in because he was showing signs of parvovirus. He tested positive and Dr.Reilly gave us some at home instructions and I truly believe that if I would have followed his instructions for at home care my dog would have died. I think he is very informative and maybe could help others but because of my situation I would never take him back there…. He said they could not hospitalize him there because they didn’t have a quarantine room which I totally understand!!!BUT he did not give any recommendations as to where to take him for hospitalized vet care. I am new to grand island and I would’ve liked to have some information as to where to take him. We ended up taking him to parks veterinary in grand island which was the best decision of my life. I am so thankful for parks, the staff was amazing and they truly saved my baby…

I highly recommend Dr. Riley. He's taken care of both my 2 dogs. Always with good outcomes. He's very knowledgeable. He was able to get my dog Ginger stable after she developed a siezer disorder. It's been a month and she hasn't had one siezer.

After unsuccessful treatment elsewhere, a friend suggested we visit with Dr Reilly. We are so grateful for that recommendation! He worked our sick kitty into a busy schedule, explained his suspicions, did the necessary testing and treatment, and sent us on our way with explicit instructions and a follow-up appointment. Maggie is again a happy, healthy pet and we could not be happier with our new doc and staff at South Locust Vet Clinic!

Such a great experience for a first time visit. I was nervous about where to take my 2 puppies and chose this place over another highly recommended place in town. I had heard good things about Dr. Reilly here and decided for half the price of what the other place wanted to charge for their puppy year vaccine package, that I would give the first visit a try and see what I though and go to the other place next time if I didn't feel right. The appointment could not have gone better. Not only was the exam thorough but both him and his vet tech were SOO nice and friendly. They had so many pieces of wisdom to share in regards to training, and how to change some behaviors, and then one of my pups is a bit on the smaller side. So they powered great advice on how to get him a little thicker. I was shown products that they sell in the vet office as well as helpful tips that could save me money if I wanted to choose another option. You can tell that it's not all about the money while you are there and that they are truly invested in the health of your pet. I am so glad I took a chance and went here, and I will continue to take my 2 pups here as well as recommend them to everyone.

Our 11 month old German Shepherd had a complication for him nutering fom our regular vet. Dr. Reilly was on call, and ended up having to open him up, he found that he was bleeding internally. Dr. Reilly worked diligently to find the bleeding. He and his team saved his life and we can't thank them enough.
