The Tattered Book is a used book shop with a huge selection of books on every topic, including an excellent selection of children's books. It is a lovely, well-organized store with tons of books to choose from and great prices. The people who own the store are very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. It is a terrific place and is highly recommended for a visit when in Grand Island.

Was closed for holiday but past visits were good. Love the atmosphere and all the fun of browsing for that used book to add for reading.

I have never left this place empty-handed! The books are affordable and the people working have always been very kind. I adore this place so much that I now volunteer here on the weekends and it's always such a blast!! I cannot recommend this place enough!
