Just stopped by this bank and asked if I could have a letter notarized and when I told the girl at the counter I didn't have an account I was refused service. I have been asked to pay for this service before which would be fine but not turned away completely.

They won’t cash a check drawn on their bank if you don’t have an account there, unless you pay a fee! Greedy. I don’t want someone who I paid with a check to call me and say “hey they won’t cash your check here unless I pay them to. “No other banks that I know of do that.Also, they want to run a credit check just to open a checking account! What other banks do that? They suck.

used to bank there and today i went in thinking i would give them a try. heck no everything went fine i was using a payroll check to open the account and she goes up to find out how much cash i could get. say sorry no cash back and funds wont be available for 8 days.. are you kidding me. why to banks act like the money we work for and place in their institutions is their money not ours... wont ever again step inside a wells fargo never.
