Only hardware store that’s close to the area we were working. Keep in mind it’s a hardware store & not a lumberyard & they will probably have what you want or something close to it

I have been a patient of ace hardware 4 over 25 years unfortunately I will no longer require service at the Gretna location the employees can't tell the difference of a peace sing and a bird finger good luck 👍

Needed a special tool, stopped in and they helped me find one with multiple sizes. Worked great and got the item tightened!

Be careful if you place an online order - Placed an online order on 7/23 and spent over $500.00 before discounts. My order was acknowledged and then shortly after 3 of my 5 items were cancelled. My email just stated either I requested items to be cancelled or my order couldn't be fulfilled. Scott an assistant manager called me on 7/31 and left a voicemail that the 2 items that hadn't been cancelled were ready for pickup. I called back the next day, 8/1 and explained to him that I wasn't wanting just the (2) items, I wanted all (5) items which pushed me over a threshold for a discount. I explained that I was shocked that I wasn't given an option to have the items that were not available shipped in. He explained that the store has recently changed over all management and they wanted a chance to make it right. He stated I should have been given an option to have the items shipped to the store. He asked me to come up and talk to him, he would be there until 4pm. I said I would re-order the same order and he said he would give me a discount. Although it was not discussed over the phone since he told me to come and talk to him, I expected it would be my original deal. I came to the store at 3:50 and was told Scott left early. Paul offered to help me and ordered in all the parts. I was told today my order is in and ready to go, and they would offer me a discount equal to 1/4 of my original discount. Paul also told me the employee who originally gathered up my order might have pressed an incorrect button that didn't give me the option to have my items shipped in.
If you've made a change in all your management and you want a chance to do better and make it right to a customer, then follow through. I am grateful that Gretna has a hardware store however it seems customer service continues to lack.

Every time I walk into Ace Hardware, I’m reminded why I love shopping local. The workers there are some of the most full-hearted, helpful people I’ve ever met. They don’t just point you in the right direction—they walk with you, ask what you’re working on, and really try to help.

The store has a wide array on DIY tools and such. The path inside is not very guest friendly nor efficient. The primary floor was cluttered and due to things being laid out, I had to detour twice to get to locations in the store that I needed to get to. The hammer and hand tool aisle had a few mispricwd/misplaced items. I found d out after the fact once they rang me up. I left the items at the register. Initial entry i heard a greeting but did t detect where or who ot came from. Employees were on their phones doing what folks do on their phones. There was only one gentleman employee who seemed genuine in inquiring if I needed assistance.

Just bought a Weber Genesis grill, hooked up the LP gas and discovered the igniter was defective. Called the service area and they were helpful trying to troubleshoot, but now I am on my own to deal with Weber to get replacement parts and install them. There was no offer from Ace Hardware to help me get this resolved. I would recommend that Ace do some basic testing before they sell their Weber grills.
