Armbrust Hunting Dog Kennels, in Gretna, NE, is the leading dog trainer and breeder serving Gretna, Omaha, Ashland, Papillion and surrounding areas, although we also serve customers state and countrywide. We have been raising German Shorthairs and German Wirehairs since 1973. We use them mainly for hunting. Our dogs also compete well in field trials, hunting tests, shoot-to-retrieve trials, obedience and dog conformation shows. We have owned six Field Champions, two best of show winners, an AKC Master Hunter and two AKC Senior Hunters, and a National Futurity Winner, FC Rawhides Hay Windy. We are available Monday through Friday by appointment only.
We’ve brought two GSP puppies into our family from Armbrust and couldn’t be happier with them. Amazing dogs who love the family and are absolute bird hunting machines.

I purchased a wonderful dog from Art and she has spent several months with him training her. He has done a fabulous job both breeding and training. I am very happy.
