Worst customer service. Will be leaving this bank asap. Never been treated like a theft about my own money. Would not recommend.

3-29-2023 11:30AMCustomer Service Rep. without hesitation treated my inquiry as if it were the whining of a baby or the babbling of a jokester.I was not belligerent and was simply seeing what could be done about some payments I hadn’t initiated. In our short time speaking together she reminded me every reason why not to bank with 5 Points of Hastings.Whether it be from the inoperable mobile app or the scorned customer service representative I spoke to earlier, I know that each time I choose to bank with 5 Points of Hastings I am greeted with disappointment.I wish there was some piece of saving grace I could add somewhere in this review but alas there is not.Do not bank with 5 Points of Hastings, go to Wells Fargo or somewhere else to open your account because if you decide to bank with 5 Points of Hastings I can assure you, somewhere sometime in the dead of the night you’ll wake up screaming.

If was able to leave zero stars I would. This bank is a joke. Horrible customer service, doesn't care about their customers needs. And don't seem to care if they keep people using their bank

I've always had a good experience with this bank, tellers are always positive and always has a treat waiting for my puppy.

If you care about being treated respectfully and integrity, this is not the bank for you. They don’t take fraud seriously or investigate it and pass the buck except if it’s their dime. They are careless and dismissive of questions and concerns. Their attitude is simply “If you dont like it, go somewhere else. We simply don’t care.” They definitely have a big city attitude about keeping business and don’t have time for questions or concerns and answer with form letters. Don’t believe their advertising which claims that they care about small town people because their actions prove that they don’t.

I should have left this bank years ago. The staff is rude and incompetent. I've been chased out of the drive thru because there was a "big fish" behind me. Ive had my night deposit thrown in the trash, deposited legitimate checks that they have returned to me as bogus instead of making a simple phone call to the issuing bank to verify funds, had a banker tell me that they are out of money to loan, phone lines That go to an advertising sight at times and the list goes on. I hoped they would get their act together because I hate changing bank is expensive and time consuming but this last fiasco is the straw that broke the camel's bank as they refused to do a thorough investigation into a fraudulent advertising charge instead telling me that I should have done my due diligence. This coming from an institution who cashed a clearly bogus advertising check for someone else and then went to where that person worked who happened to be one of their customer's places of business and demanded the business owner pay for their mistake. Due diligence? How about cashing good checks such as I presented and from whom I had deposited checks for years before they returned it without making one simple phone call and accepting responsibility when they clearly did not do their part? Dont make the same mistake as I did and believe that its honest incompetence. It clearly is not. And The icing on the cake is that all levels of management ignore the customer's complaints increasing the toxic stupidity of the staff.

The mobile app is a joke. Doesn't work half the time. The mobile deposit, your better off going to the bank to deposit. That's if you can get a teller that isn't rude to you. Or can read a check right and put it in right. The list goes on and on. I would recommend finding a different bank.
