I would give negative stars if I could. The guy I spoke with was rude, degrading, and just down right a total jerk. I will never take a vehicle back there if it was the only shop left in Kearney.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I was having a major battery drain issue on my f150 and had taken it to 3 other shops including Anderson Ford Grand Island and all 3 could not diagnose or fix it. For 6 months I was daily charging or jumping my truck. Anderson charged me $1200 for multiple uneeded replacements and repairs they thought might fix it and sent me packing without resolution.Rodney at central auto electric had it diagnosed in a couple hours and now I'm back in business. It began with my rear right backup light not working, then progressed rapidly to no running light and then the brake lights and turn signal went out. I purchased a new taillight assembly for my 2017 vehicle and when that didn't work I knew I needed help. I did an internet search and found great reviews for Central Auto Electric and gave them a call at 7 am. I dropped off my vehicle around 8:45 am and it was fixed by noon. They offered me a ride to work but I already had one set up.All the staff were friendly, welcoming and professional! My mechanic took the time to explain what he found and how he fixed the problem. Not only was the repair very affordable, but I get to return the new taillight assembly I had purchased online (which wasn't cheap) Best of all, I left with peace of mind and gratefulness in my heart! I will definitely be back as a repeat customer! Thank you so much!November 2021. I had a dashboard light come up and my vehicle manual said it could be a loose gas cap or bad fuel. I tried both of those things and still the light. I contacted City Auto Electric the Thursday morning the week before Thanksgiving and they got me in immediately to check the code. Come to find out it was my thermostat and my mechanic reset the code and they were able to get me scheduled in on Monday Nov 29th (because they were already booked for the shortened Thanksgiving week) Once again, they fixed the issue and lucky for me it was a bit less than estimated. I have so much confidence dealing with these wonderful people at City Auto Electric. They are my go-to for auto repairs and vehicle upkeep. Thank you so much!

I got security warning light and lot more, at first I went to Midas but they did wrong work and nothing has improved despite I paid $2500, so I decided to find other factory.My decision was absolutely right. Everyone was so kind and great mechanics.Of course I will choose this factory again!!!

Called up to see if I could get my vehicle's electrical system diagnosed and the main guy turned me down. I said I'm a paying customer. He said I don't care I'm an American and that he won't even look at my foreign car. I asked why? He said cant get parts. I said I could get parts and was looking for a simple diagnosis. He said you go ahead get the parts and tear into it yourself. So much for being American. And doing things the American way.

My favorite place for auto issues. I needed my water pump replaced and they did a fantastic job! Best price in town...about half as much as the other places I called. I trust taking my vehicles to them and am always treated in a friendly manner
