I’m a college student, my dad sent me to get antifreeze for my car informing me they should be able to help me put it in my car. I went in and Isias showed me my options, after i asked if he could help me put it in he said he could show me where it was at but he couldn’t help me put it in. At other locations i’ve never had this experience, this was disappointing especially as a college student.

Every time I go to this store in Kearney they have the most helpful staff. They actually want to help you, and are super knowledgeable. They are kind, and I will strive to do all my auto business here just for their wonderful customer service.

So I came in yesterday with my roommate who was looking to get spark plugs for her vehicle. They did not have them, fair; however when we asked Kelly if we could go ahead and order that part and have it picked up in Kearney. He expressly said and I quote " We don't do that here."Now I don't know what in particular he was smoking that morning, and or if there was something a little extra in his coffee. But what I can assure you is that was a lie, a bold-faced lie to a young lady who knows a hell of a lot more about cars than most people I know, which also means she deals with these kinds of businesses more regularly than I do. BUT even my ignorant self when it comes to automotive parts, knows the very basics of customer service in the 21st century where we have computers and know how to use them. After running around for hours, we then came back and had another associate order the part while he stood by, and after some time we came to retrieve the part that we paid for, and it seems the delivery driver "SOMEHOW" neglected to or was not made aware of that order, at which time Kelly proceeded to be incredibly rude and tried to be intimidating to my roommate. By speaking over her and raising his voice as if he had some authority. So then we came back THIS morning and the most lovely assistant manager I have ever met named Harriet, not only called around and did everything within her position's ability to track down a part that was paid for and tracked to have been either in GI or in Kearney. But where is the part??? No one knows??? As this man is milling around the back moving things before coming out and talking about his father's Alzheimer's, and how much he dislikes taking care of old people or something. All while neglecting another customer who was trying to buy oil.Harriet needs to be promoted immediately, her attitude was more than just professionalism she was genuinely concerned about how confused a simple part order had gotten. And Kelly either needs to be drug tested, or just straight out fired because it was not only outright refusal to perform a function of your job. But it had all the indicators of someone going out of their way to not only intimidate a customer for some reason, but to go out of their way to ensure that the part never arrives so they seem correct in their assertions about their inability to do their job. This was simple part order.

Kelly refused to order us a part forcing us to run around town all day only to figure out we were in the right spot. Finally got the part ordered by someone who actually knew how to do their job only for the delivery driver to neglect picking up the part at all. Fortunately Harriet was there to call Napa and and see who else could have the part and returned our money we are so grateful you have at leat one employee that can competently do her job and admit to the the failure of the station brought on by her co workers. Harriet is manager material and deserves praise.
