We were having problems getting our updated WiFi & Mobile plan setup correctly through customer service. After a week of no resolution, I stopped in at the local Kearney store. Trenton (manager) and his staff rectified the situation in just under five minutes even following up via email and text. Before you call an 800 number, go visit your local Spectrum store!

I'm only going to give 4 stars, but please read.
We switched to spectrum phones a year ago. Didn't think anything about our bill until this last month when it was higher. Started looking at my billing more and saw that there were 2 extra plans that I was paying for. I used the chat option to talk to a CSR and they were quite frankly very rude and unwilling to work with me on fixing the situation. So I went into the store to speak with them. The employees started looking and asked me to come back in the next day when Trenton was working. After Trenton did some digging and speaking with his superiors (to no avail, surprise) Trenton and his direct manager have corrected a situation that never should have happened. Trenton and his manager definately get 5 stars, but the CSR I dealt with gets 0 stars

Went in to cancel my internet service and for some reason I get charged almost a month and a half later of me requesting to cancel it. I log into my account and my internet service is still active?! Unbelievable.

Customer service ... Not helpful. Rude! I cancelled my service, for personal reasons Feb. 25. my service end date was March 10. On March 3. .. they took $155 from my account for March 12-April 10. But ... I had already cancelled. That money should NEVER been taken out. They refused to refund it. Soo, March 10 My service will be cancelled. Yet, somehow, I paid for next month. No service and no refund. Do not use automatic payments. They'll screw you over.

Absolute dog shit internet service.
I can run my whole house on my Verizon Hot Spot, but can't run 2 TV's off this internet?
Glad my $100/ month goes towards this.

Don’t waste your time! They are constantly raising people’s bills. I don’t recommend getting cable through Spectrum. Do not do it!

It's a $65 fee just to set up a router. What a joke. ? I wouldn't even have their service if Great Plains Communications expanded more in Kearney. If any of you CAN switch to Great Plains because of the area of town you live in, do IT! Everytime I go into Spectrum they are trying to sell you the latest, greatest phone package. Maybe they should stick to INTERNET service. I'm hopeful other companies like Allo and Great Plains will expand more and put Spectrum out!

I've had spectrum since I moved to Kearney almost 2 years ago. After the first week I was shopping for other options in the area due to constantly dropping signal. Spectrum thrives on having no competition here, yet. GEEeeEZ, I hope that once Allo is going on my area it will; at minimum, stay connected. Today alone we've been dropped 4 times. This requires me to reset our router daily. Most days I have to reset the router two or more times in less than 24 hours. Such a frustrating $100+/month service, that is complete garbage.
Why would I ever call your customer service?! Or send you any messages regarding my struggle? You're answer is always the same.... Reset the router. I'll be reaching out, AGAIN! I will be editing this review again based on how you plan to remedy the situation. This paragraph is in reference to your reply below.

I've never had a bad experience here, spectrum's always taking good care of me. Excellent internet service, quality and all.
It is unfortunate that there is no way to talk to a real person other than going through their automated phone service, I've always found automated phone services to be frustrating and it absolutely makes me feel like they don't want to talk to a real person. Sometimes when I do get a real person rather than just admitting they don't know what they're doing or don't know how to help me, they will just transfer me to a random department but usually by the time I get to that person they set things right and get me talking to the right people. I think the worst time I ever had on the phone was when I got transferred to four different people before someone actually helped me though.
And I highly recommend anyone calling about their internet or phone service take down the name of who they're talking to and file an official complaint about anyone who acted like they knew what they were doing and didn't or on the rare occasion someone is rude. Spectrum takes their customer service very seriously and they will take action. There was even one point where I didn't have service for a week or so and they refunded a prorated amount based on what that amount of time was worth. I don't know if they still do that mind you.
They always have a good list of promotions available which can save you a lot of money in the beginning and just because your promotion finishes doesn't mean you're not eligible for a new promotion.
Five stars for solid internet service and solid customer service.
