“Back in March of 2023 the engine went out on my 2000 Chevy S10...when everyone else said they couldn't find an engine, and if they did find one, it would be 1 1/2 to 2 months, Lonnie was able to find one and have it installed in a little less than 4 weeks...Lonnie explained in detail what the repairs would be and why they were needed and the total cost of the repair was right around the same as the quote that he gave me.The only extra costs were incurred by extra repairs that I had them do, which Lonnie was happy to take care of. Here we are 5 months later and the engine and the A/C compressor they installed are both working GREAT!!! So happy to have a running truck with working A/C again! “I definitely feel that just a "thank you" is not enough. Moving from SF to Moline Illinois I thought I did everything right. Had my car serviced, gave instructions to check fluids, battery,breaks belts , letting them know about my 2000 ml trip to Illinois in winter, i had no reason to believe they wouldn't do what was right etc.. $700 later I was feeling secure that my car that I purchased 5 months prior was set to go. After driving 1289 ml. Approximately my check engine light came on, started losing heat & fan stayed on constantly. At the same time I was smack in the middle of a blizzard as I approached Nebraska I Pulled over checked into a hotel & the real nightmare began! $2000. “I can't say enough about how amazing they treated us. My ex-wife blew a tire on her utility trailer on the interstate, after hours, with no spare. I called them, and within an hour, they loaded the trailer on a flatbed and took it to their secure bullpen. The next morning, they put 2 new tires on the trailer and got her back on the road. The truth is, they could have taken advantage and charged me twice what they did. They actually cared about her safety and went above and beyond to help. The world needs more people like these folks and I feel terrible that I can't remember the names of the lady I talked to that night or the man who called me 1st thing the next morning and took care of everything. “In traveled to Kearny thinking I would be here for a month. The first day here I found I had to leave right away but I had a blown axle seal on my truck. I was referred to Garret Tires and Treads by another local business. I was blown away by the entire staff's willingness to help me as I am from out of state. They indicated they may be able to fix it in one day---maybe 2. As I waited, I am terrible with names but the woman who helped me when I called in went out and brought me lunch. Then---as I tried to figure out what I was going to do if my truck was not finished, I walked out of the waiting room and my truck was done. Talk about an incredible answer to prayer.
