Have bought shoes from this store once a year ago and that experience was very good. Went in there a couple months ago and they made fun of my fiancé for not looking in the right section for shoes. My sister wanted new shoes and insisted on trying it again so i thought maybe they’ve changed. wow so disappointing. We were not approached as we watched the two other customers in there get asked if they needed help. One guy literallly walked right past us and didn’t say a thing. We thought maybe they think we aren’t going to buy anything but it’s their loss. We would’ve bought THREE pairs of shoes, but no why would I want to buy from a business who doesn’t acknowledge the customer.

My disabled son has short, wide feet and enjoys walking and hiking. The 2 young men at Tradesmen Shoes made him feel comfortable and found him the perfect shoes. We bought 2 pair because they fit perfectly. The price was worth it as they have prevented some of the blisters and arch pain he had, and have outlasted any cheaper pair he's purchased elsewhere.They get our shoe trade from now on. Ask for Ethan or Amador, they're great.

Went to the Kearney store today and was helped by a young man named Ethan , he was very helpful and very polite, later that saw I saw him in walmart he remembered me and asked how I liked my new brooks , that made a very good impression on me for him to go out of his way to ask that .I will definitely go back and buy shoes from Ethan

I used to really enjoy going here for my shoes but after my latest trip I won’t be back. I was asked for my email address and I needed to update some other info. I was made to feel like an inconvenience because “other customers were needing attention” (that is exactly what I was told) If you don’t want to have to update info then DONT ASK FOR IT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! Also, I bought the first pair of shoes I tried on. It wasn’t like I was in there trying on shoes for an hour. I was literally in there less than 10 minutes!!!!

Uncool shoes inside a very uncool mall and if that is not enough of a turn off the employees will hound you and hound you until you just decide to leave. I went in there to look around knowing the reputation this place has just to see how bad it is and if it is still as bad now. The employee would not stop asking me questions and trying to create a conversation during my 2 minutes in the store. I could see his manager looking over his shoulder trying to push him as he was unsuccessfully trying to create a conversation with me. Here is how the experience went: within 5 seconds of walking in I am greeted with "hello how are you doing today?" Me: I'm fine, just looking around. Him: Are you from Kearney? Me: No I'm not Him: Where are you from? (Not any of his business) Me: I'm from Grand Island. Him: What brings you to town? Me: just shopping (I had a reason to be in town but I didn't want to talk about it with someone I didn't know). That didn't seem to work so he noticed I was wearing a baseball hat, "the Padres huh? You a big baseball fan? I like the Rockies" after that I just left. If I could give zero stars I would not only for their bad shoes but for their company policy of forcing employees to hound customers. So I don't blame the employee. I blame the company. The employee was just doing what he was forced to do

I am very loyal to Tradehome for shoes! I had a malfunction with a pair of shoes that bought. They were only a few weeks old. I took them back to the Kearney store and they gave me a brand new pair! They were so nice and accommodating! Now I always check here first when I am looking for shoes!
