Thankful to be able to pick up my prescription, my pharmacy and several other pharmacies in the Omaha area have not had it available due to a shortage. Pharmacist made an extremely rude comment comment though essentially saying he hopes I don’t take my script as ordered. Having ADHD I do take my medication as prescribed as I should and nobody should be making comments like that. Not sure if it was an outdated judgement that women can’t have ADHD or I was judged due to having tattoos. As a pharmacist that’s incredibly inappropriate to say. In the nursing profession you wouldn’t dare tell your patient to not take their prescribed medication in fact you’d want to encourage them to be in compliance. Also as a pharmacist you should know why it’s important to be consistent with taking your therapeutic dose of medication. I didn’t plan to say anything, but reflecting on it it was inappropriate and unprofessional. I hope no other patient has to deal with this.

CHI clinic gave me the MOST horrible experience of a lifetime! I have had a horrible experience with the clinic, especially in the last four months. Here is how some of my horrible experiences with them began unfolding: I was told that they would check if my insurance would cover my treatment. They told me if they don't call me prior to my appointment, I can just show up for the treatment. Because I haven't received a call they promised, I ended up going to the clinic for the treatment. However, they didn't tell me that my treatment is not covered by the insurance until the 3rd day. Consequently, they wanted me to pay $729 for 90 minutes of massage therapy/consultation which didn't help with my shoulder pain at all, and the family doctor told me to stop the therapy and sent me to an orthopedic surgeon. I normally pay $120 for a good two-hours massage elsewhere. On the day of my appointment with the orthopedic, I was a few minutes late for my appointment because the GPS couldn't locate the correct address of their building, and the nurse/receptionist didn't want to accommodate me. I begged her to see the doctor because I was in pain, but she wouldn't let me see the doctor, and I ended up going back home without seeing the doctor. I then called the clinic and asked to be connected to the hospital's manager to file a complaint about my experience, and I was told a manager will call me after she is done with her meeting. No one called me, and I called the clinic's number the next day and told them that I was still waiting for a manager to call me. I was then promised again that someone would call me back. And no one called me back, and I left it at that. One day I received a bill for an outrageous amount for therapy that didn't help with my pain. I started calling the billing department, and the physical therapy department several times over the course of 4 months. I won't mention the names of the horrible individuals I spoke with as this may sound like a personal attack. One of them connected me to the dispute department just to get rid of me when she knew they were not yet open. That was her way of hanging up on me. For her, the most important thing is telling me about the collection agency, and not listening to me--the patient. With the exceptions of Remellie (billings), Valerie (billings), and Tami (La Vista physical therapy), I haven't found most of them to be helpful at all. Realizing the failure of the clinic to let me know upfront that my insurance won't cover my treatment, the physical therapy department has adjusted the amounts I owe them, and I have paid them in full. As of today 3/21/2022, as far as I am concerned, I don't owe this clinic a penny, and their app tells me that I owe them $158, an amount I paid a few days ago, and have proof of payment. When I call the billing department, they tell me I owe them $887. There is such a disconnect between the billing department, the physical therapy department, and the clinic's front-end app that I (the patient) have access to on my mobile. After I took a physical test at this Clink, both the nurse and the doctor didn't explain the test results or discuss questions concerning my test results. I tried asking the nurse a question about my test result, but she wasn't willing to answer my question. The clinic app gives you an opportunity to ask the doctor a question, but you would never hear back from your doctor. I am sure there are a few people that are professionals, but the bureaucratic bubble of the clinic's system around them, and the lack of business etiquette make the professional ones almost unreachable. All in all, the CHI clinic is one you should run away from. The CHI clinic is the mother of headaches, frustrations, and everything but professionalism. The only time I would ever go there is only to bestow on them an award for exemplary bad service.

Pharmacists are always very pleasant, never a long wait to refill and pick up. Melanie is very helpful and I enjoy our short chats while filling my prescription.

They are always quick to fill my prescriptions. They are friendly and also answer questions you might have without hesitation. They are also in a very convenient location because they are close to home and my doctors office is in he same building. But I often take my prescriptions from other doctors to this pharmacy. After dealing with Hyvee pharmacy and Walgreens, this was like a breath of fresh air because they were willing to work with a patient and the treatment I received was so much nicer. Since I have a rare disease, the pharmacists were able to understand and work with me on my medications without fail. I can't praise this pharmacy enough for their good work ethic, friendliness and knowledge. You won't be disappointed working with this CHI Alegent pharmacy location.
