DON’T GO HERE. I’ve been a customer since 2019. I’ve never paid fees this high before. Usually it cost me anywhere from 200$- 300$. None of the fees the added on made sense. I was rushed to sign everything and left confused.It cost me over 500$ to file my taxes here. I’m praying they were done correctly. This is the last year I’ll be using H & R block.

I usually do my taxes online, however being that I work in Iowa and live in Nebraska amongst other things I felt I should go in and have a “pro” do them and see if there are things I may have missed doing them myself. I had Linda who was a very nice person which is where the one star comes from. She gave me a first responder tax credit which she said I qualify for, now months later I receive in the mail a piece of paper from the state saying I owe a few hundred dollars. Come to find out the credit was for Nebraska where as I work in Iowa, now because I did not get the “audit” protection, H&R Block is refusing to pay for the mistake their “tax pro” made. I will not be back and will not suggest anyone use them for taxes as they do not take responsibility for their mistakes.
