The survey PODS wants you to take after service is ridiculously long and complicated. Even though I thought PODS did a good job, the survey is put together by somebody who is so focused on reaping data they forget to care about customes.

Arrangements were made a couple days in advance to move furniture out of pod!Upon arrival the pod was no where to be found.Called several times, finally got someone to answer,after 1 and a half hours someone showed up to bring pod out!Poor management and communication!

Nearly impossible to get a quote without spending 15 minutes on the phone with someone with really broken English. Pretty simple move. Scottsdale AZ to Omaha, NE area. It’s none of their business what I’m shipping as long as it is legal and within their policy. AND, the6 are more expensive then everyone else.

They tell you when you are moving that they will bring your stuff to you. Then, when you get a house and ask for your stuff they let you know that they only deliver to SOME places. Then, when you have to get a truck and go to the facility to load your pods contents into a truck and back out again where you live ... They forget to bring your pod out.
This company is filled with liars. They did offer $200 off my bill. A small percentage of the extra cost incurred. I told them to keep it.
Screw PODS in general and also the management of this location. One is a liar and the other incapable.

I’m a very frustrated customer. This is the 2nd time I’ve used this service. 1st we moved from Ames, Iowa to Ankeny, Iowa. They stored our things for 1 month while we waited for our home to be done. It went really well. Now, the 2nd time using them we had them move our things from Ankeny, Iowa to LaVista, Nebraska thinking we’d end up moving to the Omaha area. We have been paying them $319 a month for 10 months to keep our pod for us. I came home to Clarinda, Iowa to take care of my parents and we have decided to stay here to continue doing that. I called to have our POD delivered to Clarinda now that we aren’t moving to Omaha. It is only 81 miles from LaVista to Clarinda and it’s all interstate and highways. They won’t do this. They want me to pay over $1000 to have it sent back to Ankeny (which is twice as far) so I can go and empty the pod. Meaning I have to find another way to get my belongings to Clarinda. I asked to speak to a supervisor. After explaining my situation she became rude and hung up on me. They can ship these pods all over the US and over seas, but they can come 81 miles to bring me my things. I’m so upset about this. I don’t know what to do. 😢

Had the worst experience with the PODs customer service. Wouldn’t let me talk to a supervisor or manager because they didn’t pick up there POD from me which has been in my drive way blocking to park 2nd vehicle which has to be parked on the street because they refuse to pick up the POD without a payment of $181 dollars ummm no. I’m not paying to store your POD in my drive way and told me I didn’t call them till the 29th of April which is a damn lie. I couldn’t barely understand what they were saying. They sound all the same and then told me I’m lying on when I called in. Ummm excuse me?? I have phone records. This is the1st time getting a POD and very disappointed and will NEVER EVER DO THIS AGAIN. Their quick to drop off the POD to your location but take there sweet time for pick up when your done with it. My POD is still here and they won’t pick it up so now I have to figure out who can move it for me.UPDATE **POD got picked up finally on May 5th 2025 and they are still trying to take out random amounts of $79, $89, $181, $279 dollars which makes no sense. Been told by someone that actually spoke clear English apologizing saying I don’t owe nothing and apologized for the customer service I had and still keep getting calls and emails saying I owe money or it will get sent to collections. STILL NOT RESOLVED AT ALL!!!!!!!!! Tired of emailing this Mathew person that isn’t resolving nothing. If I could I wouldn’t give them a rate and won’t refer this company to no one not even someone I dislike.

I used PODs to move 800 miles. Since I was renting a new apartment I did not have an address or date to unload. PODS was a great flexible solution. My move was easy and seamless. I'll use them again!

They get 3 stars for the price and the friendly drivers / some CS reps (not all of them are so friendly).
This was the best solution for us when moving across multiple states. Everyone is very friendly, through the entire process. the issue i have is the invoice/billing is not straightforward or easy to understand. I was charged $292.00 for a month of storage fees, when the i never used any of the PODs storage. They dropped the POD off, i loaded it, 3 days later they picked it up and shipped it to me a week later.
I spoke to the customer service rep and was told too bad, you signed the contract and it stated the storage is part of the deal whether it was for 1 day or 30. When i asked to speak with a supervisor or manager, he said they don't take customer calls.
So my advise to anyone looking to do a POD is always, always, always question all fees and make absolutely sure you understand what you're being charged and why you're being charged that.

PODS was definitely the easiest part of selling/buying and moving across the state. Their communication and timing was excellent. We tried to get a quote from 2 Men and a Truck, but they did not call back. After 2 attempts, we decided to go with PODS. The text feature was really easy when we needed to change our pick up date. Definitely use that vs calling in. Great service!
