“I live in Japan and I love this place! They always come through for me when I place my orders every holiday that comes up. I’ve been here for 5 1/2 years and I’m still placing orders. I give myself a month or two ahead to place orders for that upcoming holiday just in case of shipping issues. Here’s an order I received last week. Took two weeks. As you can see I’m getting ready for Easter and an upcoming spring festival.

“I love the welcoming you get when you enter an independent bookstore - like you're an old friend. The staff were exactly like this. Don't be fooled by the name or the size - the store offers a lot more than books and has a large selection of puzzles, journals, specialty items, and gifts. When I asked for a recommendation for a local author I should read, the woman eagerly offered several choices, including some she wrote! It was a delight to meet Nancy Rips.”

“This place is just awesome. As a kid, I think about how much my dad would have loved this when i was growing up. Now, with our own kids, we love being able to share this and many more hobbies with them. The new owner is awesome, randomly spoke to him in-depth and he showed us around and was just so cool to talk to. All of the staff is excellent and you can tell they truly have a passion for what they do. Good, clean fun for kids and adults.”

“They had such a great array of products!There were a variety of nice pins, I especially liked the Ghibli studio ones and the unique ones, like one with a chain connecting two pins together. Also, all the rings were so cute that I got so much of them. Definitely coming back to visit again!”

“KIDS BIRTHDAY PARTY SUGGESTION!! ?.We just left Bricks & Minifigs off 132nd & Center. I’d never been there before and found it while searching for a party spot in town. Thank goodness! They have a party room, they host it, decorate it and they were patient with 15- 5&6yr olds. Each kid got a mini figure and a chance to play and build the whole time. If you have Lego loving kids… this is seriously the place!.Pic of our kids & the owners daughter, Faith, who was our party host!”

“I just had one of the most profound experiences at Learning Express Toys and I couldn’t wait to share it. I have a close friend of 46 years who seems to benefit from those little “fidget”thingy’s and he’s always “flicking” it around but his finally broke.
(After 8 years! This was important to him!)
At Learning Express Toys I did my best to explain the little “toy” but my heart was breaking.
That is when a polite and respectful young man spoke up from behind the isle and offered me a SOLUTION!!! Turns out he had patiently been listening to me and said “Has your friend tried these?” Turns out he had not and now says they are the best!

“Great place; I just went in for a small tube of CA unglue, but the staff was very friendly, walked over and grabbed the item, and it was just an overall great experience for how short it was. They have a large assortment of hobby based and RC based items. I try and use the locally owned stores when possible vs. buying online. Great people!”
