Such a quaint spot in a small town. I hear the mail man is quite the nice guy. He drives a yellow right side drive jeep! He will even deliver live chicks! Love ya Dad!

Dick's place has excelent homemade food, and cheap ice cold beer. However, it's the people that make the place exceptional. I was hauling corn to Sedan on a 100 degree day with no A/C, and stopped in to buy a pop. I didn't have any cash and was going to write a check. The guy sitting at the bar wouldn't let me and paid for my drink. The service is really fast too, but there is no rush to leave.

A city post office with employees that smile and actually use full sentences. This is a new one for me. The two ladies behind the counter are nice. I have used them a few times and my experiences range from uneventful to pleasant. I'll take it!

Dec 4 9:38 Post Office has not opened yet. I've been here for 45 minutes. Both clerks are sick, the manager muttered on the way in.

I've used this post office a few times and the employees have always been friendly. The location is inside the courthouse but you'll need to enter from the side entrance and won't be required to go through any metal detectors as you're not going into the actual court house. The line when there is one usually goes by very quickly. They sell envelopes and boxes for all of your mailing needs. Although they don't sell any tape, during one of my visits the employee at the counter let me use their tape to seal an envelope I needed to mail. They won't mail any UPS packages or envelopes but there's a UPS drop box nearby on E. Baltimore street which the post office directed me to.
