“My husband and I have been coming to Vogl's for many years. I feel bad that I am just now getting to leaving them a review!This is our go-to spot for a quick fishing trip. Their cabins are affordable, comfy and very clean! Their store has everything you forgot and then some and they don't price gouge! The owners are super friendly and accomodate whatever you need.If you stay during the summer when the Admiral's Cove restaurant is open, they have really good food and are just down the road. The Boxcar restaurant is open year round and just a bit further down the road. They too have really good food, especially breakfast.Vogl's is a perfect spot and would be great for large groups as well since they have 2 houses to rent if you need to accomodate more people. I highly recomend!!”

“We were traveling through area and heard about the fried chicken. We called to check hours and found out that the place was closed for season except for some weekends. But Jeff said he didn’t want us to miss out. He was cooking up chicken for some local families and would include us. He called when it was ready and we headed over. Great fried chicken and really nice guy! Would love to go back when they are open and try out more of the menu!”
