I don't buy big stuff there, They got a pretty sick clearance aisle, stores clean, never need to look for an employee (and they're more helpful than the new norm). Next to PF so I can get my gym on and get some paint, maybe a hammer? Satisfy my fastner needs? You f'n bet! And who knows maybe pellets for my smoker or vermiculite and some Mason jars.Overall: legit shopping experience and prime location for my needs.

Great selection for store size. Super friendly and accommodating staff. I’m happy the store is close by.

There's a young man named Elliot. That is a floor supervisor that works at this location. He is very, very kind, great customer service, and is very helpful. Not everybody has great customer service in them. It comes natural, it's not something you are taught.

Very nice local hardware store in a convenient location and good selection of common household needs. I recently moved into this area and am certain to frequent often.

Probably need to train cashiers about returns. I've returned items where I lost the receipt before and now the girl looks at me like I'm crazy for doing it. Almost felt guilty walking in with something I purchased already

Didn't have what I was looking for, and the isles are way too narrow. This particular ACE tried to claim that my debit card had expired and insisted that they had to take the card! This all happened about 10 years ago (or so). I try to avoid this store whenever possible. BTW, my debit card was fine & in good standing. The cashier was simply trying to get me to surrender my card to him. I will never forget that instance.

On February 17th "John" from the 48th street Ace Hardware came at 8:05 am for our 4 hour handyman appointment. We had scheduled our request over the phone several days ago and he had no idea what we wanted him to do. Our primary goal for this appointment was to install our chandelier. We were told that we would 'need an electrician for that' because the wiring was old. Sid Connor told us we could do it ourselves quite easily, but I'm busy and short -- hence hiring an Ace Hardware handyman. Our other projects includes:1) repairing a faucet to turn more easily. This would require a new faucet -- which was disappointing. I was sent to buy a new faucet and John told me that either of two faucet styles would work. but was informed near 12pm that it did not fit and I needed the other kind. John offered to leave the faucet in pieces and unusable. I insisted that it would be put back together since I need to use my bathroom. 2) He repaired the back door, but did not check to see if it worked afterwards. I had to call him back over to fix the storm door so I could leave the house and go to work.3) Two upstairs doors needed to be repaired. He complained that it might be impossible because they were older, but we had extra hardware. The doors are totally normal. They just have pretty antique knobs and brass endplates. One of the doors is fixed, the other is better but still does not work very well.4) I wanted the bathtub overflow replaced by a new one. After many excuses, mainly being that the bathtub was 'old', he agreed to try. I did not see him use any additional equipment like a new bathtub overflow kit. Eventually, he decided it couldn't be fixed and drilled the non-fitting screws flush and tore up the threads. I don't understand why he didn't have the correct size screws with him. He had a whole truck full of equipment He made this project much worse. 5) Hanging a piece of stained glass: I didn't dare asking him to even try at this point. John accomplished: Fixing 2.5 doors and one faucet in 4 hours. And he made my bathtub worse. For 500$ and big disruption to my and my husband's day. I deeply regret hiring Ace Hardware for these repairs. This was supposed to be a nice present for myself to have these things in my home fixed and a little fancy. Instead, I have a 500$ bill, a waste of time, and more work to return John's hoodie and the faucet he didn't use.

I was looking for a toilet lever and handle. An Ace employee saw me looking and helped me find the right part.

Always a welcome when you walk through the door. If I'm not able to find what I'm looking for they are always willing to help me locate . Better service than Menards, Home Depot and lowes

Kelsie If that’s her real name… (the want to be manager) has 0 people skills… I called before driving across town to see if they had someone there to sell and program a key. The girl said yes..I get there, the guy says they can’t do it. I said I called before I drove all the way across town to make sure you could do it and they said you could. He gets back on with the manager and the manager says they will not do it. I said I want to talk to the manager of (Kelsey) she says there’s nothing she’s gonna do for me. They’re short staffed. The girls shouldn’t have told me that. I said well she did and I drove clear across town. Kelsey said well I don’t know what to tell you. Drew. I was obviously not happy and said to make me a key blanks so at least I could get into my car. She said I can just leave and walked behind me all the way out the door like a 12-year-old mocking me.

Always a good experience shopping at a hardware store that isn't the soulless black hole that is Menards, home Depot, etc.
