Shop here atleast once a week for misc. Household needs! Stopped in this morning after the storm as we had a tree across our roof and deck. Had bought a replacement chainsaw blade a few weeks back, and went to put it on this morning and was about an inch too short. Took the old chain, new chain, and packaging in to exchange it. Was told the new chain that was clearly an inch shorter than the old one had sawdust on it so looked used. Of course it had sawdust on it, I just tried to install it!!!! Once again showed her the blade was clearly shorter than the correct one so was no way it could of been used. Refused to exchange it. Went to Menards and got the correct chain for half the cost! Guess I'll go the couple miles further to Menards or Home depot from now on. Very poor business practices.

In the ACE store and needed to measure a plastic tub to see if it would fit. Ask the clerk if they had a tape measure to use for a moment. She said “ NO” made no effort to help just walked avay.

Walked in, 3 employees staring at their phones. No hello. No nothing. Found our own paint supplies with no help just fine. First time at this store, not impressed at all.

Don't go here. I shopped here for decades, but will not be back. I purchased an item and it was marked incorrectly and did not fit. I was told by an employee when purchasing it that it was returnable, or I would not have gotten it. When I went to return it, the return was denied. I had a receipt that said it was returnable. They were so sorry I was told the wrong thing, but from the attitude, they were not, and it doesn't matter what the receipt said. It wasn't an expensive purchase, but the customer service was just so bad. I left quite angry and no, I wasn't rude to them, just so surprised. I did call the company and have never gotten a response. They used to be so well run and my first choice when I needed something.
