I was in a week or so ago, female employees were openly making fun of an elderly lady who was trying to purchase shoes for her husband. The male manager behind the counter didn't put a stop to it, instead he seemed to find some humor in what the girls were saying.We walked out, as did others. We won't be back.

Completely unprofessional making fun of an old lady when we were in there for looking at “ old man shoes” for her not husband. But disabled friend that couldn’t walk into the store.

6/24/22I liked a pair of Rieker shoes at theBrown’s Shoe Fit Co. in Lincoln. They had a size 8, and I’m a size 7 1/2 so I paid for them and they were to order a size 7. The shoes don’t come in half sizes. When I tried them on at the store the following week, they were tight. The guy said the shoe will stretch. A week later, I couldn’t walk in them. I looked at the box and they are a size 6! Color 7. The Manager wouldn’t exchange, but he stretched them for 5 minutes. He said next time check the size on the box. It’s a nice store, but they lost a customer. Look at the receipt “39,” and I got a “37”. “39” is a size 8, and the “37” is a size 6, and I paid in advance and ordered a “38” size 7, NOT a size 6!

Great customer service from the staff. This is the only store we could find dress shoes for a men's size 15 in stock. Will definitely visit again!

I ordered a pair of walking shoes. I received the shoes today! I ordered a size 7! your message states that you sent size 9 US! When I finally received them, they were size 8 US! I'd hate to send them back. The shoes are wonderful, but my feet slide in them, and will likely give me sore heels! I can't use them! What can I do?order #8867539

Don't buy $15 socks from Brown's. I bought Smart Wool socks and was not told at time of purchase about their policy. I wore the expensive socks once and they were too short and hurt my toes. I tried to return two days later and was told I could not return socks although I wasn't told that at time of purchase. I even put the socks in in the store to try on with the shoes and wasn't told that. I asked if I could exchange for a larger size. No. Now I'm out $15 and have socks I can't use.

The young man who helped us was very friendly and patient, and helped my husband find a good pair of walking shoes that fit. Head and shoulders above the big chain stores.

I went into the store today and was asked if I needed help. I said I was just looking. When I did ask about a specific shoe, she barely looked up from her cell phone. “They’d be over there on that rack.” The other person there just stood there and also offered no assistance. I was the only customer in the place. Not for long because I left.
