I recently visited Costco Optical and had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making the entire process smooth and efficient. The eye exam was thorough, and the optometrist took the time to explain everything clearly. The selection of frames and lenses is impressive, with a wide variety of styles to choose from at very competitive prices. I was also impressed with the quality of the eyewear I received. Overall, I highly recommend Costco Optical for anyone looking for excellent service, great selection, and value.

Casey in the optical dept is the greatest! She provides excellent service in a very helpful and friendly manner - and fixed me up with a nice pair of Oakley frames and progressive lenses that are just right - for about 1/2 the price of most shops. Thanks Casey! David Bath

I had a great experience at Costco Optical here in Lincoln. I truly felt cared for. Dr. Heidi did a great job at taking my case and looking into the root cause behind my pain. Within 3 weeks I felt like a new person due to Dr. Heidi's care!!

Loved the staff here and the female doctor who did my exam (I'm horrible with names and don't see it listed on the costco website). I had just gone to Stanton Optical and the exam was horribly done, super wrong, and the prescription was laughably off. This doctor really took the time to listen to me, ask questions, and the exam was painless. She gave me options. She explained everything well. Made me feel confident in my vision. Thank you so much.

Wished I could give them zero stars! I've had so many issues from the pharmacy losing scripts giving wrong info and taking 3 days to get a script to customer service making me 30 minutes to only have the lady walk away that was the only one to help me. Tire dept is the worst as they couldn't call me to let me know my car was done when I dropped it off in the morning so I had to wait till next day to get my car. They said they had the wrong number which I changed at customer service prior to that and they didn't call the secondary number. Took 3 times to change the Number and it's still wrong lol! When they did do my tires they dropped my rim cracking it! $530 is brand new for 1 rim! I asked them to just pay for a repair of $120 NOPE! However they said they would replace the tire since the gouge screwed up the tire. Ok well they ordered it and again they F up! They ordered the wrong tire which I told the GM manager many times and gave him the tire size! I get there taking off work to pick up and they pull out a tru k tire and since clay GM manager wasn't there I had to deal with the ever so pleasant Joshua the asst GM which made things worse by coming at me with an attitude and being a complete j*** saying I was harassing him when I didn't call him any names nor yelled but yea I'm pissed! He flat out said my business didn't matter and I can cancel my membership and his employees are my Witnesses. I pleaded I wanted to talk to only Clay but he refused to let me. I'm going to regional manager now. Just tired of lies, poor service, crappy customer service!

What I love about Costco Optical - the prices. What I do NOT like is their transition lens - what a joke. They are dark in their little tester unit in the store, but in the real world sunlight, they are about 60% dark. What I do NOT like is the process of ordering and re-ordering contacts. Having two profit centers (Costco Optical and independent Optometists) is a pain, they don't seem to know what the other is up to. I'll NEVER attempt to order contacts at Costco again. Costco Optical is usually understaffed and sometimes the wait time is lengthy.

Went there a few weekends back and kept getting conflicting information after the eye exam from the opthamologist. First my kid didn't need to wear glasses but then in the end he should. It seemed like it was all pretty subjective, which kind of makes the visit a waste of time and money. So I took the prescription from Costco and went to a different opthamologist on 84th and Old Cheney, and that Opthamologist told me the prescription Costco gave me was way too strong, in fact it was double the needed strength, -1.5 vs .-75. We were also told the excessively high prescription would actually cause more headaches than not wearing glasses. On the upside the Costco opthamologist he was fun to talk to, thus two stars for a good attitude. I just don't think he was consistent with what he was saying and in the end that's the goal of going to a doctor. Course who knows maybe the Old Cheney doctor was wrong but his consistency and his willingness to test both prescriptions definitely indicated more confidence.

I'm such a fan I have my travel plans wrapped around costco availability. Today it's just gas but we have an old RV that consumes egregious amounts of gas on a long road trip. This trip alone our average savings at Costco buys two gallons of fuel per tank. That's huge fir our retirement income in todays economy. Clean restrooms and super ready to eat foods make this camper very happy and healthier!

Very quality glasses for reasonable prices if you don't care about name brands you can get frames for around $50 and depending on what type of lenses you need you could get out of there probably for around a $120-$200 without insurance. You can do your eye exam anywhere and bring it to Costco for your glasses

Costco.....I really wanted to give you another try...but now...NO WAY..we bought new tires December 2019 right before canceling our membership in January 2020 becuase we had issues with several food items with issues and an employee that was very rude...I went to Costco Tuesday October 5th...I showed up early as I was told to do at 9am because I'm disabled and they keep earlier times for disabled and elderly. I sat and waited until about 915am and still doors didn't open so I called Costco they finally opened up and I explained my situation and advised them I had back surgery not very long ago and could hardly walk. The man said not to worry it will be quick and will have you on the way.....it was not quick nor easy at all. It took almost 2 hours for them to tell me My tire ended up having a piece of shrapnel in the side wall and couldn't be repaired so I was told they could not sell me tires and warranty wasn't active because I was no longer a member..long long story I had to re buy a membership so I could buy a new tire in the meantime I was treated rudly by not 1...not 2 BUT 3 different employees. I left very upset with a donut on my vehicle and was told come back the next day which ended up being Thursday because they didn't have time availability Wednesday..so I made an appointment showed up at 11:58am Thursday and was told again don't worry it won't take long at all....I waited 25 minutes and the only reason someone helped me is I asked an employee taking a car in that just pulled up I needed help and had an appointment. They finally got my vehicle back and they did such a terrible job they left the spare tired metal shield on our back seat which got it dirty...THEN look at the picture...I WAS PULLED OVER TODAY by lpd asking why I had a spare tired hanging underneath my vehicle...so now I will have to go back to Costco and have them fix this.. needless to say I am very mad this took way longer than it should have and the employees didn't even install the spare back correctly.....this is DANGEROUS!!!! .these issues along with the time and money waited prior I am out time and money almost 100.00 but hey Costco if you want to lose a customer CYA! I WISH COSTCO CARED ENOUGH TO HELP!

The doctors just won't call back when the trial contact lenses they prescribe are problematic. They operate separately from the optical center. The staff at the optical center are helpful and tried to help as much as they could.

This was my first visit to this Costco location in Lincoln. The parking lots are designed friendlier than the West Omaha site. The service and efficiency appear to be much better than the 2 other locations in Omaha. Items are slightly different with inventory and the cashier is helpful with providing boxes and packing up items efficiency. Overall, a great Costco site to visit when in Lincoln, NE.

The tire and auto manager was unprofessional, not polite, and a total lack of communication on his part turned me away from any further business from this location!
