Was a customer of this bank for several years. I moved out of state, they sent a statement to the wrong address and it was returned. They charged my account -$6.00 for the returned statement... I spoke with a bank manager who was great and promised to refund it. The president of the bank reached out to my family member who is a friend of his to try to get the $6 out of her.....a family member that I didn't want to be involved with at the time. HE GAVE MY FINANCIAL INFORMATION TO HER WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I mean... she knew about transactions I had made and the dates and amounts they were made on. Over $6. I never had any other issues with them, but this made me never want to trust them or use them again.

This is a first for me. I have never written a negative review for any business, but my last two experiences with this bank have been beyond horrible. I had a CD that matured on a Sunday and the following Monday was a federal bank holiday. Due to a medical procedure on that Monday, I was not sure I would be able to get to the bank within the 10 day calendar window to withdraw the funds. I called the bank on Friday afternoon and talked to a young man. I didn't get his name, but there are never very many people working there so it shouldn't be hard to figure out. I explained the situation and asked if this could be done on Saturday since the bank would be conducting business on Tuesday's date after 4pm on Friday. He told me it could. I went to the bank on Saturday, told the teller on duty what I needed and was told I needed to talk to a banker. There was only one "banker" on duty and she was talking to an elderly lady in her office. I could hear them talking about weekend plans and just general conversation while I sat waiting. After a 40 minute wait, the "banker" came out and asked me what I needed. I told her and she said that they could not do that, but I could sign the CD and LEAVE IT WITH HER!!! Needless to say, I declined.I moved several accounts to Exchange Bank after the branch in my neighborhood of my regular bank closed, requiring a 15 mile round trip to conduct my banking. I will be removing all of my accounts as soon as they reach maturity.At the least, this bank needs to train their employees to give correct answers to customers or to contact someone higher up if they do not know. I wasted over an hour this morning for nothing.

Exchange Bank is great to work with & makes the refinancing process extremely simple! Their rates are incredibly competitive, & Doug Florer did a great job watching rates to help me lock in the rate I wanted. He is very informative, helpful, & easy to work with. had a great experience with our mortgage- Doug is very friendly and easy to talk to, also isn't judgey if you're not quite sure what you're doing, what are the best rates or what type of mortgage to get, or even if you're a little slow on paperwork! ha! Very personable customer service- highly recommend

Exchange Bank is awesome! I've worked with a lot of banks in Lincoln, both local and big national chains, and none have provided the personal touch that we've received from Exchange. They truly live their motto of "relationships you can bank on." On top of providing a fantastic customer experience, they also have some of the best interest rates, and lowest fees in town. I highly recommend Exchange Bank to anyone looking to make a change.

This bank has the worst customer service I've been associated with. They want to charge my 88 yr old mother penalties because she needs some cash from her CD during the COVID-19 epidemic. Very Bad Business
