TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I PLACED AN ORDER TRIED TO GO GET IT AND WAS TOLD TO CANCEL THE ORDER AND RE ORDER IT DIDNT GET MY MONEY BACK FOR 2 DAYS AND WAS TOLD EVEN WITH AN ORDER NUMBER THEY COULDNT PICK MY ITEM THEN TOLD SHE DONT KNOW HOW TO INSTRUCT ME ON HOW TO CANCEL VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE HOW ARE YOU A MANAGER AND YOU DONT KNOW THE CANCELATION PROCESS AND CANT PICK ITEMS THAT ARE SHOWN ON EMAILS AND ON YOUR APP!? WILL NEVER ORDER OR SHOP AGAIN!

What a happy mistake! I didn't remember correctly and mistook this store for a Big Lots I had previously visited last year. (A quick Google search revealed the store I was actually looking for) But I'm glad! There were so many quirky and cool things, all extremely reasonably priced! It's not often I enjoy browsing a store but I walked every row.....and every row had something I thought was so cute or cool!
I fortunately made it out without buying anything but my kiddo found a handful of cute baskets for organizing and an oreo shaped Iphone ear bud whatever holder. ?
Clean too. A little disorganized (but not Ross bad lol) but that's to be expected with the amount of traffic.

They have decent prices and products but the sheer amount of trash and product on the floor is astonishing. This looks like something that isn't addressed at all. This is a major safety hazard.

Customer service is exceptional. I've come in several times and seen the employees clean up messes in the same places. The clothes are the best example...see the employees folding them all the time yet watch customers throw them around. I feel bad for the staff cause I see them working hard to get things in order but it never seems to stay that way...they need help. Maybe customers should complain less and see how hard it is to keep a place "up to standards" when no one respects the work they do. Absolutely sad...I'm sure it also doesn't help that I only ever see 2-3 employees at a time. I've even gone in and seen employees alone...that's not safe or fair to them. 5 stars for the WORKERS effort (Hardest working employees I've come across) zero stars for the customers and the company not assisting them in success.

Terrible terrible experience last night, 7/30/24. Went to the five below on 400 N 48th and from the moment we walked in the door, we received the worst customer service from the manager, Aden/Aiden? Not sure how to spell it but he was so incredibly rude, I just couldn’t even believe it. We walked in at 9:13, very aware that the store closed at 9:30. We knew what we wanted so we knew we would be quick regardless. But the moment we walked in, Aden rudely shouts “We close in about 15 minutes!”, no hello or welcome, how are you, nothing. I looked at my phone, again aware of the time they closed and thought it said 9:03 at first and said 15 minutes? And he again very rudely replied uh YEAH! And then I looked and realized it was 9:13 and not 9:03 so I was like ohhh okay, we will be quick. We go and get our items quickly, finishing checking out around 9:26. As we are leaving, I say “thank you guys” to Aden and his accomplice who rang me up and checked me out. Aden snarkily says “have a Great night” and I replied “thank you, you have a better one” as I’m walking out. My friend I came with was still behind me in the store and hears Aden say “yeah I will now that you’re gone” and she was appalled and says “really?!” And he replies “YEP”. I heard them talking so I stepped back in for a moment and she advised me of what was said and I said “seriously?! That was extremely rude and unprofessional and I’ve felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable since the moment I walked into this store. What is your corporates phone number?” He replies “I’m not giving it to you, go find it online” at this point I’m just thinking WOW. WOW WOW WOW. Seriously, who hired this guy? And as a manager? WOW! So I asked his name and let him know how rude he had been and that I would absolutely be lifting this up to let you all know how incredibly rude and disrespectful of a manager you all have at this location. I frequent this location because I don’t live far from it, however after this interaction I will not be back, and I will be sharing this terrible experience on every single platform. I have called corporate and have not received a call back yet.
