I would rate this a zero if I could because I had a very unpleasant experience with Sherine and other staff at the People’s City Mission Help Center. They were extremely rude and have a horrible attitude toward shoppers. Instead of being understanding or respectful, they spoke to me in a way that was embarrassing and made me feel very uncomfortable, especially when I accidentally took something extra.
This is a place where people should feel supported and treated with kindness, not shamed or disrespected. This place used to be filled with respect and kindness by the owner before. Another thing is the staff take the supplies for shoppers and act like it’s no biggie.

You can donate almost anything, and they'll recycle what they can't use. Very easy, always friendly and helpful.

The People's City Mission Help Center is such an awesome place. The staff are amazing and friendly. They help people with everything like personal care products, clothes, housewares and food.

Probably should give another star but you can't like turning back in 2 seconds somebody is still everything you got. But if it's freezing outside it's a warm floor to lay on.

As someone in need of help recently moved to Nebraska, the older lady by check out bothered a lot and was no help! She’s very unprofessional. She for no reason was following me the whole time even after I got out the doors just because the stuff I got was actually useful not trash she got mad.

Great place to drop off donated clothes or toys or anything else. You can also buy those things if you're interested or even volunteer. They are always so quick and helpful!

Apparently, you're supposed to skip your dialysis for any help. What a joke! You only see people for a couple of hours one day a week for new enrollment? Were told tough shit when asked if there was any other way to get someone started. I'll never donate here again.
