The area manager was the person I dealt with she was rude and not very helpful. She was supposed to call let us know if we were getting a truck that we reserved which she did not. We went to enterprise and got great treatment. Unlike Hertz they were busy but still very polite and helpful

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received. Despite making a reservation for a minivan, the representative, who identified herself as Heidy but whose business card read Amy, was exceptionally rude. She insisted on providing a V8 Chevy Express instead and became confrontational when we inquired about alternatives closer to our reservation.
Her unwillingness to explore other options, despite the availability of vehicles in surrounding locations, was frustrating. She stated it wasn't her job to find a suitable replacement and presented an ultimatum: take the 14-passenger Chevy Express or leave. This lack of professionalism and unwillingness to assist forced us to take our business elsewhere, which significantly delayed our trip.
I strongly advise looking at other rental companies for a more accommodating and respectful experience.

The lady here said her name was Heidy but her business card said Amy she was super rude we made a reservation ahead of time. We reserved a mini van and she was trying to give us a v8 Chevy Express. She was yelling at us and basically said take it or leave. She called someone and she purposely didn’t want to give us our vehicle when she had a lot full other alternatives. Super rude beware of customer service and no professionalism. Look elsewhere lots of better options.

I recently reserved a Nissan Versa through an insurance claim at Hertz. Initially, everything seemed set for pickup. However, upon arrival, I was informed that there were no cars available until Monday, leaving me without transportation for an additional five days.
This unexpected delay has been incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. As someone relying on timely access to a vehicle, especially through an insurance arrangement, I expected better service. Communication regarding the availability of cars should have been clearer before I made the trip to the rental location.
While I understand that delays can occur, especially with high-demand vehicles, it would have been helpful to receive advance notice or alternative options to mitigate this inconvenience. I hope this feedback prompts improvements in managing customer expectations and reservation processes at Hertz.
Overall, my experience has been disappointing, primarily due to the unavailability of the reserved car and the resulting extended wait period.

We rented a vehicle through our insurance company. The first car they gave us had a bad tire. We exchanged the car with a “better” one. We drove it for 3 days and noticed the tire pressure wasn’t holding. We called the road side assistance offered by Hertz. We waited for 35 minutes on hold. By the time we called the Lincoln branch they were closed. The tire was repairable. We took pictures. We also asked for reimbursement for the $45 tire we put on to get us on the road again. I was told they would review the info before our credit card was charged. Well we don’t include a picture and never got a call back before they charged our credit card. We have been asking now for weeks for a call back and credit. No one returns the calls.
Update: A representative from Hertz asked for more details and still determined that even though their road side assistance talked on the phone for 30 minutes the day the tire went bad (which was already low the day we got the vehicle) with no solution, we are still liable for having to buy a $43 tire. They said we should have bought extra insurance to cover incidents like this. Interesting that the tire on the first car and second car were both bad and one so bad that even the tire place said it’s not drivable, yet they didn’t have a problem renting that vehicle to us. I asked for the tire that we bought back and I’m not getting that either. We rented through our well known insurance company so hoping they cancel that partnership so others don’t experience this same issue.
