Great shoes, cool employees that are ready to help and start a conversation, and a fairly good selection of shoes to choose from. I recommend always trying the shoes on though; a lot of people I know have had sizing issues with Vans in the past.

Ordered shoes for my grandson on December 1st. got 1 email about the order. Saying "thanks for your order". So, I know that with Christmas right around the corner, delivery could be delayed. December 11th I called the number given on the email contact. The customer service representative said the shoes were back ordered and were arriving at the store December 14th. Because I had no emails, this is why I called. I also tracked the package from the email, it said "unavailable". I asked the customer service representative if I will receive the shoes before Christmas, she said "YES". SO...I....WAIT... December 21st I call again. Again, no email or update about the shoes. Only the one email thanking me for the order. This customer service representative said the original date on the 14th for the back order was subject to change. The shoes were still on back order and I would not get them for Christmas. So.... why wouldn't your company send me an email stating the shoes were on back order in the first place ? That would have at least given me the option of canceling the order and actually purchasing a pair that I could have given my Grandson at Christmas. Completely understand back ordered items and delivery problems. Not keeping your customers informed is a huge fail on your part. HUGE!! I will wait for the shoes. This is the one and only time I will shop with journeys..Hopefully you will look at this and fix the problem for future customers.Sincerely, Michelle

My mother and I were interested in buying some new shoes and went to three other stores before this one. This store was seriously the light and the end of the rainbow. Not only did they stay late for us, bring us multiple sizes in multiple shoes, we didn’t feel rushed and they were all delightful to spend time with. They never pressured us to buy things and offered great advice. Thank you so much journeys are gateway!!

My daughter really wanted the Vans slip on shoes, they just didn't work with her foot. The lady working had helped my daughter find a similar design on a shoe that ties, which ended up being the right one. Unfortunately they did not have her size in stock. We were able to order it on a Saturday afternoon and got it 3 days later shipped to my choice of home or the store with free shipping!

Very limited selection and for the same boots or shoes you can find them cheaper at other stores. Staff doesn't even greet you or tey to assist you.
