I really hate to leave negative reviews for small local businesses, but Lincoln Pharmacy has dropped the ball with multiple errors filling my medication and I no longer trust them. I will say that everyone who works there is super kind and I think they’d be fine with filling basic, common prescriptions like cholesterol meds. That’s the only reason I’m giving 2 stars. I take a medication for an autoimmune disease that they have to order in. I have had to call in to remind them several times to actually order my medication days after my prescription renewal or refill request came in. The biggest issue though was my most recent fill they dispensed a single large vial of medication for 90 days (because my usual small vials were on back order), even though multi use vials are only safe for 28 days after first puncture due to potential for bacterial contamination. I didn’t notice I only got one vial until I got home and I am lucky I am a healthcare provider because I could have become quite sick injecting from the same vial for 90 days. After going in to discuss their error, they initially tried to tell me it was probably okay to dispense for 90 days because there was preservative in the large vial, but they would check and after further questioning from me they confirmed it was only safe for 28 days (this should be common knowledge). I was told at that time I’d receive a phone call within a day with a plan to getting the rest of my 90 day supply. It took 5 days (and I had to remind them to call) for them to call me back with the recommendation to request a refill when my supply was up and they’d take care of it and have a note in my file about the special circumstances. I refilled as instructed over the phone with an employee and reminded them of the situation, and after four days of it not being filled, I was informed that instead of filling it with the special note to insurance like they said they would, they were waiting for an entirely new prescription (which my doctor didn’t send over because I didn’t need a new prescription) so hadn’t been able to order it yet. I got no communication at all about the delay and only learned this because I called them. They also failed to communicate with my rheumatologist’s office or me that they couldn’t fill another specialty prescription that had been sent to them, nor did they forward it to a specialty pharmacy, which led to a significant delay in getting this treatment because of their lack of communication.
Update: In response to owner comments, there was no confusion on my part. I was dispensed a single 10ml vial for 90 days on 07/09/24 (I still have the prescription paperwork from the pharmacy as well as my insurance proving this) and it was only switched to being dispensed for 30 days after I brought my medication back into the pharmacy to point out the error. 5 doses is 28 days (dose one is day 0, four additional doses at one per week make 28 days). Really disappointed in this attempted gaslighting about their error, especially when my primary complaint was about their poor communication and timeliness issues with ordering surrounding this mistake.

The staff or soooo helpful, by far the most amazing people who truly care about there patients. They know u by name they talk to you as a family member and treat u like a human every one there is by far some of the most amazingly blessed Staff. If u need a pharmacy this is the one u should choose ? PERFECTION.

Nice little mom and pop shop. I like to support them. Prices seem a little less too. The only complaint to have with these guys is there notifications system to let you know it's time to refill. Has never worked since I've been going there. Pretty much when they opened up is when I started going there. Nice people

i couldn’t be more lucky and grateful to have the folks at Lincoln Pharmacy and they’re so close to my home. ( they still deliver my monthly prescriptions to my front door, as getting out of the house isn’t always an easy option for me, and they understand this with only more kindness and patience for my situation) ??✨?
they all have gone above and beyond for me and more than just once or twice ;) i thank you all so much for everything you do for us. truly

Hands-down the best pharmacy I’ve ever used. I’m never switching back to the big-brand chains. Somebody, please, give these people a medal.The staff who work here are genuine and caring. It’s no surprise that they’re rated so highly. They know me by name, and when I walk in, they have my stuff waiting on the counter by the time I get to the front.Pleasant conversation, and they’re happy to answer my questions or concerns. I don’t think these folks have a rude bone in their body.I get my stuff days (sometimes a week or more) sooner than I did at the chain stores. And I never feel like I have to be an insurance expert/lawyer to beg or lobby them to carry the pills that I need. I save hours of hold-time from before. They carry what I need, and if they’re out of stock, the usually get it next-day.Only two tiny, superficial side-notes. 1. Their app could be a little better. 2. I wish they were open longer each day. But that’s small potatoes.Make the switch—you’ll never look back.
