I had a child attend for three years from 2020-2023. Keep track of your weekly receipts for tax purposes, as the owner (despite owning multiple facilities in the city) won't furnish you a year end amount for tax purposes. She can access it (I know this because I've received it previous years from the same facility) but won't. She made several excuses and then eventually ghosted me. Speaking of hours, keept track of your time yourself and check against the amount you are billed each week. Anything over 45 hours per week is extra pay and your time in/out is at the mercy of whoever is/isn't sitting at the center table recording it via pen/paper when you come and go. Your weekly receipts will only reflect a $ amount based on their calculations, no breakdown of the actual time in/out each week.

We found Little Brookland 3 years ago. We have had multiple bad experiences at previous day cares. Little Brookland has been wonderful and our kids enjoy going. The staff work with us when we have a concern even minor to help improve the experience for our kids and I'm sure all kids at the center.

My kids have been going to Little Brookland for almost a year now. I wanted to wait before giving an accurate review of our experience. So far it has been wonderful. Amy and her staff have treated both our kids so well and take great care of them. I did have one issue that I addressed with Amy and she immediately spoke to the other child and parent involved and it was resolved. Their preschool program is definitely a great one as well. My daughter is learning a lot. She LOVES the program and cries when its time to go home.I would HIGHLY recommend this center to any working family that needs great, trustworthy, quality care!

I’ve had horrible luck in the past with daycare I switched my daughter to little Brookland in May and since May she has already learned to count, her ABCs and so much more. They love these kids As if they were their own. They have pretty much potty trained her.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My son had been going here since he was 5 months old. While he was in the baby room I went to visit him during my breaks sometimes. Multiple times I found him tightly swaddled in a wrap which I specifically told them NOT to put him in. It was too small and left red marks on both sides of his neck. There were multiple times when he was teething they refused to give him ibuprofen or Tylenol I provided and would call me to come pick him up as he would get a fever from time to time from his teething. At one point the manager Amy told me I needed to call first before I would come stop by to see my son.More recently the manager, and apparently other workers there had been watching what I wear to drop off/pick up my son. She accused me of not being at work. She also said bringing my son to daycare was putting them at risk of getting shut down because they had "too many kids". I have been treated as less than from day one for being a younger first time mom and a Single mother.I would NOT recommend this daycare to any family or friends. They judge you and are more worried about getting paid than caring for your child.

We’ve been using Little Brookland for a little over a year and have been very happy with the care my kiddos are getting! There has been minimal staff turnover in that time and they genuinely love those kids. I love that my kids are excited to go which makes it much easier to go to work. I also found the preschool program they have is fantastic! My daughter was more than prepared for the transition to Kindergarten.

My son has been attending Little Brookland Daycare since he was six weeks old, now almost 18-mos. I love this daycare and would highly recommend it.My son is excited to go to daycare each day; he is happy everyday when I pick him up. He loves his teachers and the activities they do together. Recently they did a water day and my son got to splash his heart out on a water table and run through the sprinkler. He apparently screamed with joy the whole time.I really like how much free play the kids get and how thoughtfully they have been transitioning him into the next group once he ages out of the baby room. He plays outside almost everyday and gets lots of exercise indoors and out. On rainy or cold days, the kids can run around in the indoor gym area. The main daycare space is open, so children of all ages get an opportunity to interact. Even though my son had been in the separate baby room, he has made friends with several of the older children. He has been socialized very well at daycare; he is friendly and outgoing in every new situation. The teachers have been teaching the babies/ toddlers sign language; my son can ask for food, milk, cookies (of course! haha!), and crackers. He signs please, done, and book as well.Teachers are communicative with me and genuinely concerned for my sons health and development. They always ask about his doctors appointments and express concerns when he isn’t acting like his normally happy go-lucky self. Teachers keep him well fed, in clean clothes, and engaged with free play or activities. From my personal observations, his teachers seem to love him.All the kids I see here are happy and healthy. All of my interactions with teachers have been positive. All the interactions I’ve observed between teachers and kids have been positive. We chose this daycare because it is close to work for me and my husband. It’s about a 30 minute drive from home; we like this daycare so much we are considering moving closer to daycare and work so we don’t have to change daycare providers and to shorten our commute.

We love Little Brookland! We’ve been attending for over a year and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.My 8-year old daughter only attends during the summer, but they keep her busy everyday with field trips and other activities. I never have to worry about her being bored. My son will be 3 in December and since he started here, his vocabulary has grown so much! They work with the kids and find fun ways to learn. He’s also mastered potty training and I believe it’s because of their organized schedules that he’s been able to do it so well.

We absolutely LOVE Little Brookland. I have taken my child out of 2 different daycares before finding Little Brookland and it was one of the best decisions. My child has been going there since he was around 1 years old and will be 5 soon. At Little Brookland my child is very well taken care of. Even if there are simple mistakes made which is rare but has happened they fix it right away and it never happens again. No daycare is perfect but Little Brookland is pretty close to it. :) My child has so many friends there and always has good things to say about staff. I enjoy hearing about my child’s day there and how exciting it is to go back throughout the week. My child also attends Pre-K there and his teacher is amazing. With all that being said, I highly recommend Little Brookland!
