The Pines Day School has been serving young children from Lincoln, Nebraska and surrounding areas since 1990. They are a developmental preschool that provides a meaningful approach to learning. Children are encouraged to discover, experiment and problem solve through carefully planned learning centers, cooperative group times and individual artistic enrichments. The Pines Day School has been described as a wonderful place for children to grow. The teachers are passionate, encouraging, caring and creative. Families cannot say enough good things about The Pines, with children still talking about their teachers years later. The school went above and beyond for a family during a difficult medical journey, showing kindness and love to the students. The curriculum is wonderful, preparing children academically and socially for kindergarten. Parents are shocked by how much their children have learned in a short time at The Pines, and feel confident leaving their children in the fun and safe environment. The Pines is highly recommended, with families enrolling multiple children there due to their positive experiences.
Jan has created such a welcoming and safe place for preschoolers to learn and grow. My son is in his second year at The Pines and he absolutely loves going to school. His teachers are awesome and genuinely care about him. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our little guy.

I am SO glad I decided to enroll my son at The Pines. I am shocked by how much he has learned in the first 3 months attending. The teachers here are so amazing..and knowing I am leaving my son in a fun & safe environment is top priority for us! I am 100% enrolling my next kiddo here once he comes of age!!
