Showed up on time, very professional and respectful. Brandon, Martin, and Roberto worked very hard to make sure everything was accounted for and in working order. They were a pleasure to have in my home while they were continuously coming and going to get the truck unloaded and my items placed. They went above and beyond and wanted to do more than necessary to ensure ease on my part. Do recommend, use these guys!

The entire staff (top management, customer service and moving staff) were customer-focused, attentive and problem-solvers. They made the stressful process of moving, especially for a Senior, as smooth as possible.

Horrible communication. I had to call them 2 days after they were supposed to contact me to set up a delivery appointment. It took 2 phone calls and another week to get a response and then another week to get my package. Never been this frustrated with a delivery.

I have been working with Mayflower several times in this last month for my business and they have been fantastic. My regular truck drivers haven't compared to them. They get everything done in a timely manor and always ask questions to make sure they are moving the right stuff properly. I have gotten to know a few of them lately and they always have been respectful with dealing with freight that has to be moved. I can't suggest them enough. This month was the first time I have ever dealt with them and I will always think of them as one of the best moving companies.

I want to begin by simply stating that I rarely write a review on a company. It has to get pretty bad, before I take to a keyboard. Especially when it comes to a post others in the public community are able to read. But, in this case I had to share my experience, as it was the most negative move I've ever experienced. By way of history, I have at the time of this posting had 15 moves using multiple companies, and specifically 3 within the last 5 years. All 3 of the last moves have been through Mayflower National. So I honestly believe I've been a loyal and flexible customer. Most of all, I'm extremely experienced as a customer in packing and preparing for a move. Prior to this move, we had 85% of our belongings already packed for the estimate. And our history was within the Mayflower system. Preparing an accurate estimate should not have been an issue. The 5th/15th move is my move with Select Van & Storage, representing the National brand of Mayflower.Our issues began on the day of the actual move, when we discovered the estimate was completely off. This detail would domino into multiple problems over the next few weeks. In addition, one of the individuals who was part of the crew, jokingly indicated they had not done inventory in 6 months and that the likelihood of him getting it right could hinder us getting all of our belongings. Plus on the day of the actual move, the estimator showed up and changed the bid on me. I agreed to it, not knowing that the second a box is loaded onto the truck that the bid that was originally given can not be changed. Later on when I contacted Select Van & Storage to lock down the delivery time on the second half of my delivery, I was reminded that they were paying the extra difference....which was an unsolicited mention from what I believe was the lead manager or owner of the operation. It was completely unprofessional, especially since I agreed to pay an additional amount of money.Because of the estimate miscalculation, our shipment was split. When we received the first load, it was clear our boxes were crushed from transfer and we were missing easily 50% of our items. Not a problem, as we were told we would get the other half later in the week. When the truck showed up for the second delivery it was not our belongings and the Bill of Landing had 2 names on it. Clearly a mix up occurred. We waited one more week, and our stuff did show up, but then at the end of that second delivery we noticed we were missing many items and that again many items were damaged, from the multiple transfers. Eventually we were able to get our final items in hand, but the process was beyond frustrating as the very last items were our most treasured of belongings (photos, records, and even my grandfather's military flag from his funeral).Mayflower National Customer Care was great (even refunding me the additional $1,000 I paid, and the accepting local company was amazing dealing with all the mistakes created by the origin movers where the problem began with Select Van & Storage. It was a completely unprofessional experience from start to finish. With the start being the day of the move. Until then, everything seemed normal and on point. So we had a level of confidence going into the day of move that everything would be great.I would recommend Mayflower National in the future, I just can't recommend Mayflower using Select Van & Storage in Lincoln, NE. If I could give minus Stars on this rating, it would be negative stars. As I hope no one ever has to go through what our family just went through.In closing I also believe mistakes happen, it's part of the world we live. I can't' deny the other reviews on this page, as it is clear others have had very positive experiences. I trust many more will have similar positive experiences in the future, and I wish Select Van & Storage the best in correcting their operations.....it's a learning moment, and I trust they will do better.
