Shannon was fantastic to work with and answered every question we had! Felt like we had known her for years. Dr. Manthey explained everything in depth to help us understand what was being told to my husband and I during our eye exams. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve had issues with the last 2 pairs of glasses (not from here). I heard good things about them so decided to give them a try. I just got my glasses and it’s like night and day! I’m over the top thrilled with them. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to work with. Dr. Matt was awesome, he took his time to make sure I was satisfied. Definitely my new “go to” place for glasses! Thank you!!!

Awesome support from ShopKo Optical, especially Barry the manager. I bought new glasses using a prescription I’d obtained at a different facility. It proved to not be the right prescription and Barry worked with me to get a recheck at ShopKo Optical and continued to work until I had frames and lenses that would work well for me. He not only did this - he did it willingly and pleasantly. Thank you - great job ShopKo Optical! Joe Bath

Excellent customer service. Sandra helped me pick out glasses, took the time to take photos. She explained pricing and worked with my insurance. Sandra went above and beyond to make sure my glasses would be just the way I wanted them.The entire team made the experience fun. Everyone was friendly. Dr. Manthey aka Dr. Banjo conducted the best eye exam I've had in years. Very detailed, explaining every aspect of the exam.I've worn glasses for 100 years. If you need glasses or just an exam I highly recommend Shopko South.

Quite possibly the greatest eye exam in the history of eye exams. The doctor is dope, the girl at the front was the friendliest and Barry, who rang me up and told me about special deals that I ended up partaking in, that I otherwise wouldn’t have known about, was great as well. Barry and I also loved the series “Barry” so we chit chatted about that for a bit. Shopko rules my world and my face! Way to go, Shopko! That rhymed.

Dr. Manthey and the staff are wonderful at Shopko Optical. He even personally called a specialist and got me a appointment asap I wouldn't go to another optometrist. They're the best. I recommend you try them yourself.
