I have banked with UBT for years. They are now holding pension checks longer. It should have been in my account first thing this morning. They are supposed to be deposited on the 1st. However if weekend they show up next morning not any more They do not start working on them until Monday morning.

Literally the worst bank ever. I have a car loan with them and they will tell me a payment went through but then it never goes through. Don't ever do their online payment... a literal scam. Hate this bank. Don't tell me a payment went through and then charge a fee because it didn't go through. 0 stars if I could.

I opened a secured credit card a few years ago with UBT. This credit card has been nothing but problems the last few months so I decided to close it. I started a chat with UBT and was told by the rep that she could close the account and that I would not have to stop by a branch to sign any paperwork. The next day I went back to the chat and asked how long the account would take to close and when my money would be deposited back into my checking account and I was told that the account was already closed and that it would take 24-48 hours for the funds to be deposited. Four days later, the account was still open and no funds in my checking account. I stopped at a branch office and had to close the account and was told that it would take 7-10 days for the bank to refund MY money to my checking account. So I was lied to by the two reps in the chats. Amazing! Stay away from UBT, folks!

As a college student, I thought UBT would be a perfect fit for me but, NO. I was charged with a $450 fee for an overdraft which I was not notified of at all, and who has time to look at their online banks sometimes? But there was a tornado on one of the days they gave me NSF fee and I couldn't go deposit the money after I find out. But I guess they still expected me to go and die in the tornado? But even with the weather condition, they still didn't give me back a refund. I am absolutely shocked, Imagine a bank company taking $450 from a broke college student who had obstacles trying to deposit their money, but was still charged $450. This bank does not care about their customers, or college students. Will never recommend them to anyone.

Customer service going down hill at this location, unfortunately. Went in to replace a lost debit card. Had to wait 5 min for the only teller to finish a phone call that was seemingly not work related with an employee at a different location. After waiting for an additional 10 min, I was told the only two people (out of 10-15) in the building that could help with a new debit card would not be available for 30 more min. Not my first experience here where the customers are put on the back burner.

My wife opened HER account (jointly, though, as with all our banking accounts everywhere) with UBT because another bank changed their policy and would not separate our accounts. UBT provided her (and me) the service she wanted. The opening and subsequent services: Inter-bank transfers, in-bank, window, and phone service have been outstanding.

I have been a UBT Customer since the early 1990's. This Bank has refused to acknowledge my account, when I had over $20,000 as my balance. They have made $500 deposit errors. I have even had to tell a banker they still owe me exactly $1. Because I gave them a $20, deposited $17 and asked for $3 back. She gave me $2 deposited $17 and refused to give me $1. They are blatantly lying to me regarding my balance. I am demeaned, talked down to as if I am "retarded". No joke. I am called "Honey", instead of Ms. or Ma'am. They tell me to just "move on", which is their way of being racially biased against me and it is racial segregation 2018. Just leave. Take your business elsewhere. They want to deny me service. They are building up their in-house witnesses by constantly recording me and having 3 people involved in every single transaction. Today, due to their mishandling of my money; due to their constant lies, I had an automatic payment bounce. It's been over 2 years now. I manage my account with precise accuracy. I am not the only person they are doing this to. I know it. People need to speak up. They pick on me because I am vulnerable. But I am nobodies "Honey", and they are racially mistreating me. And lying and being deliberately confusing and regularly inaccurate regarding MY MONEY. And that is Illegal.
