Made a mistake on our 2021 tax return that cost us several hundred dollars in refund/penalty. Nobody's perfect...just fix it and file an amended return, right? Spent16 months trying to get them to do that! They finally texted us in August to meet them at their office on a Sunday and pick up the amended filings. They didn't show up so we filed a small claims case. That got their attention and they mailed us the amended returns & our paperwork. My wife reviewed them and they were still WRONG! Throughout this entire process, nobody there has once said "sorry for the inconvenience." They've got nothing but excuses and victim mentality. Darla even blamed us for the mistake at one point, saying nobody lists the wife first on their return! ? I can't recall dealing with a less professional bunch of people in my life. Just use Turbo Tax. That's what we did for our 2022 return and guess what? We did it correctly, even with my wife's name listed first.

Awful customer service. Good luck in getting them to answer ANY questions /phone calls/ emails/ or even showing up for a scheduled appointment they made with you. ??????

Save yourself a huge headache and go somewhere else for your taxes!! If I could give negative stars I would. It took from March 2022 to August 2022 to get Darla to send us our fathers taxes. Multiple calls, texts, emails and messages on Messenger were sent. We had to get her sister and the NE Attorney General”s office involved. Darla had so many excuses as to why she couldn’t just send us the information. Beyond frustrating!! All while we were grieving our father and trying to get his affairs finalized. All this hassle for basic taxes to be done.In answer to your response , it did happen there. At your business, Darla. This is exactly how you operate. Deny, bob and weave, never taking responsibility for your actions or lack thereof.

I had a wonderful experience at this hometown family business. I learned some tips on running my small business and was welcomed to Nebraska. Darla is a dog lover and welcomed my Labrador Emma to be part of the appointment, with treats as well. As far as my taxes, Darla, was quick and efficient. I have found my tax lady for my new life here in Nebraska. Thank you for your kindness Darla

Terrible service and unprofessional! Allison R. Gross made several mistakes throughout the process and had a terrible attitude, wouldn’t clarify and answer questions. Had a rude and demeaning manner. Tell your staff it’s unprofessional to smell like cigarettes and speak without addressing and facing the client. Everyone there is rotting old and rude. They are even unprofessional with reviews, replying with snarky comments and debating. Would not recommend, save your time and money for somewhere better. This place should be out of business!

Absolutely horrible place! I met with Allison a few weeks ago and she’s the worst. She Kept making mistakes and forgetting to add my dependents despite telling her multiple times. She doesn’t know what she’s doing. The office in general never answer their phone. The people who work there are all old and mean! Don’t go there because they will mess your taxes and charge you too much

I switched to Welch's some years ago. They ask questions, a LOT of questions concerning deduction eligibilities that previous accountants didn't. On top of all this personal attention, the prices seem to be more manageable than my friends that get their taxes done elsewhere. Plan ahead, they seem to be busy. (Get an appointment EARLY!)
