Madrid General Store is a wonderful and delightful place not to miss. The store is not very big but has a wide variety of quality products, from assorted gifts and spices to baked goods and produce. Its atmosphere is very cozy and familiar. The staff are lovely, friendly, and helpful. The baked goods are a definite cut above, especially the cinnamon rolls, which are to die for and have an old country flavor. Fresh baked cookies and very good bread are also highlights. It is a highly recommended must-go place, particularly on Thursday mornings for fresh cinnamon rolls and fresh brewed coffee.

If you want good healthy food this is the place. Good frozen section with lots of yummy baked goodies. We come from the local honey. They also have a coffee spot. Nice sitting space both inside and out to enjoy that Latte. It’s an all around good general store.
